Steubenville, Ohio
Steubenville is the county seat of Jefferson County, Ohio, United States. Located along the Ohio River, it is a principal city of the Weirton, WV–Steubenville, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area, a subsection of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 18,659. The city's name comes from Fort Steuben, a 1786 fort that sat within the city's current limits and was named for German-Prussian military officer Baron Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Steubenville is a Roman Catholic diocese covering thirteen counties in Ohio. Franciscan University murders
The Franciscan University murders is an American criminal case involving the kidnapping of two young men from Steubenville, Ohio, and their murder in Washington County, Pennsylvania, on May 31, 1999. The perpetrators were found guilty on several counts after a 2000 trial, but their murder convictions were overturned in 2004 in an Ohio Supreme Court decision requiring the defendants to be tried once in each state for the crimes committed in each state.

Veterans Memorial Bridge (Steubenville, Ohio)
The Veterans Memorial Bridge, also known as the New Steubenville Bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge which carries U.S. Route 22 across the Ohio River between Steubenville, Ohio and Weirton, West Virginia. Planning for the bridge began in 1961 in Ohio and in 1964 in West Virginia, and the bridge's construction was approved by the Federal Highway Administration in 1978. Construction began in 1979, and the bridge opened on May 1, 1990. The final cost of the bridge was $70 million.

Federal Land Office
Federal Land Office is a onetime government building in Steubenville, Ohio where the federal government sold public lands to settlers. It is now on property of a museum beside reconstructed Fort Steuben. It was later moved to its present location.

The Fort Steuben Bridge was a suspension bridge which spanned the Ohio River from Steubenville, Ohio to Weirton, West Virginia completed in 1928, closed in 2009, and demolished on 21 February 2012. The bridge had carried U.S. Route 22 and then Ohio State Route 822 during its existence.
