WNCI is a radio station in Columbus, Ohio. Its official print brand identifier is WNCI 97.9 in a purple oval, while the station is known on-air as 97.9 WNCI. WNCI primarily plays Top 40/CHR music, and is consistently one of the top-rated stations in Central Ohio by Arbitron. The station has had a hit music format since the early 1970s, making it one of the oldest continuously airing Top 40 stations still in the format.

Kappa Kappa Gamma (ΚΚΓ) is a collegiate women's fraternity, founded at Monmouth College, in Monmouth, Illinois, USA. Although the groundwork of the organization was developed as early as 1869, the 1876 Convention voted that October 13, 1870 should be recognized at the official Founders Day, because no earlier charter date could be determined. This makes Kappa Kappa Gamma one of the oldest women's Greek-letter societies in existence today.

Columbus City Center (known locally as City Center) was a 1,200,000-square-foot, three-level shopping center in Columbus, Ohio, United States. It was located in the city's downtown, near the Ohio State Capitol, next to the Ohio Theatre, and connected to a Hyatt hotel. The mall had a large parking structure attached that, despite the mall's closure in 2009, is still used extensively by downtown workers.
Battelle Hall
Battelle Hall is a 6,864 seat multi-purpose exhibit hall located in Columbus, Ohio, part of the Greater Columbus Convention Center. It opened as the Ohio Center on September 10, 1980, and although sometimes considered a white elephant because of its small size and seating capacity it has been used for a variety of events, including concerts, trade shows, and sporting events such as the 1993 and 1994 Mid-American Conference men's basketball tournaments.
Rhodes State Office Tower
The James A. Rhodes State Office Tower is a 41-story, 191.72 m skyscraper at 30 East Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio. The Rhodes Tower was completed and occupied in 1974, and is currently the tallest building in Columbus and the fifth tallest in Ohio after Key Tower, Terminal Tower and 200 Public Square in Cleveland and Great American Tower at Queen City Square in Cincinnati. Currently, approximately 4,000 state employees work in the building.
Columbus Metropolitan Library
The Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML), located in the capital city of Ohio, opened its doors in 1873 in the New City Hall in downtown Columbus. This library is one of the most-used library systems in the country and is consistently among the top-ranked large city libraries according to "Hennen’s American Public Library Ratings. " Led by Larry D. Black from 1984 to 2002, the redeveloped CML was formally reopened in 1991 by U.S. First Lady Barbara Bush.
Central Ohio Transit Authority
The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is a public sector transit agency serving Franklin County and the rest of the central Ohio area, which includes Columbus, as well as Bexley, Gahanna, Grandview Heights, Grove City, Hilliard, Reynoldsburg, Upper Arlington, Westerville, Whitehall, Dublin and Worthington. Currently, COTA only manages bus service, though light-rail or streetcar service has been discussed several times in recent years.
Columbus Africentric High School
Columbus Africentric High School is a public high school located near downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. The school's previous name, Mohawk Middle School, was changed in the late 1990s, to allow the school not only separation from its original status, but also to expand it into a large school. The very first organization that was started at Africentric was the Nubian Step Team.
Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center
Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center is a public magnet school located near downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. The school opened in 1976 on the site of Fort Hayes, a military base undergoing closure.

The area centers around the intersection of Broad and High streets, with the northeast corners being known simple as Broad & High by the surrounding businesses and media. Greater Columbus Convention Center
The Greater Columbus Convention Center is a convention center located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, United States, along the east side of High Street. The convention center was designed by Peter Eisenman, constructed in 1993, and expanded in 1999. Property management company SMG oversees day-to-day operations of the 1,700,000-square-foot facility, including 426,000 square feet of exhibit space, two ballrooms, and 61 meeting rooms.
One Columbus Center
One Columbus Center is a 366ft (112m) tall skyscraper in Columbus, Ohio. The cornerstone for the 26 floor building was laid on October 21, 1986, and it was completed the next year. NBBJ designed the building, which is the 11th tallest in Columbus. The staggered facade allows for 15 corner offices on every floor. It has 37,855 m² of floor space, and sits on the former site of the Deshler Hotel.
Borden Building
The Borden Building is a 438ft (134m), 34 floor, tall skyscraper in Columbus, Ohio. It was topped out on May 9, 1973, and completed the next year. Harrison & Abramovitz designed the building, which is the 9th tallest in Columbus. It has 52,842 m² of floor space.
16 East Broad Street
16 East Broad Street is a building in Columbus, Ohio. Completed in 1900, the building stands at a height of 180 feet, with 13 floors. It stood as the tallest building in the city until being surpassed by 8 East Broad Street in 1906. From 1927 to 1939, the eleventh floor of the building served as the office for the National Football League. Joseph F. Carr, a Columbus native, was president of the NFL at the time.
King-Lincoln Bronzeville
King-Lincoln Bronzeville (or King-Lincoln for short) is a historically African American neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio, and the site of considerable revitalisation and renovation projects on behalf of the city. The King-Lincoln neighborhood is bound by Broad Street to the south, 20th Street to the east, Atcheson Street to the north, and I-71 to the west according to the City of Columbus and is part of the larger "Bronzeville" area.
Downtown High School (Columbus, Ohio)
Downtown High School is a public high school and vocational school located in the downtown area of Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. It was built, along with the Fort Hayes Career Center, to consolidate three closing career centers (Northeast Career Center, Northwest Career Center, & Southeast Career Center) in the Columbus City Schools district. While a career center, it also functions as a high school with a capacity of 800 students.
