Minot, North Dakota
Minot is a city located in north central North Dakota in the United States. It is most widely known for the Air Force base located approximately 15 miles north of the city. With a population of 40,888 at the 2010 census, Minot is the fourth largest city in the state. In 2012, the Minot Area Development Corporation estimated that there were between 46,000 and 47,000 permanent residents within city limits.

Minot State University (MSU or MiSU) is a four-year institution of higher learning in Minot, North Dakota. Founded in 1913 as a normal school, Minot State University is the third-largest university in North Dakota, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Minot State University was founded in 1913 and has evolved from a normal school to a Carnegie Master’s I institution.
Minot Municipal Auditorium
The Minot Municipal Auditorium is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Downtown Minot, North Dakota. It was built in 1954. It hosts conventions and sporting events, primarily basketball, and competes with the MSU Dome and All Seasons Arena for local events. It was the home of the Minot SkyRockets basketball team. The Director of the Auditorium is Scott Collins. The auditorium is also the location of the municipal court and Minot Park District office.

The Minot Park District is the unit of the Minot, North Dakota municipal government responsible for maintaining city parks. The District is managed by a board of five directors elected by city voters to four year terms. The district also serves as the local forestry service, trimming and planting trees across the city. Through its efforts, Minot became a Tree City USA in 1992.

The Minot Amtrak station is a train station in Minot, North Dakota served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. The station is located at the site of the former Great Northern Railway station, adjacent to the Minot Public Library, and close to Minot's City Hall and Downtown Minot. Minot is a service stop for Amtrak's daily Empire Builder, which also serves six other cities in North Dakota. This is the only scheduled service stop between Minneapolis, Minnesota and Havre, Montana.

Sigdal House
Sigdal House is an old Norwegian log home which was relocated to Minot, North Dakota. The Sigdal House, located in the Scandinavian Heritage Park, is a 230-year-old house originally from Sigdal, Norway. It is typical of houses common to rural Norway during the 19th century. The house was purchased by the Scandinavian Heritage Association and restored to museum standards. The house had been dismantled in Norway, shipped to and reassembled on site at the park.
Scandinavian Heritage Park
Scandinavian Heritage Park is located in Minot, North Dakota. Scandinavian Heritage Park features remembrances and replicas from each of the Scandinavian countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark, as well as Finland and Iceland. The park was established during 1988 to celebrate and preserve Scandinavian heritage. The first building was dedicated October 9, 1990. It is believed to be the only park in the world representing all five Nordic countries.
Arlene Theater
The Arlene Theater is the name of a performance theater in Downtown Minot, North Dakota. The theater is located on First Street Southeast in Downtown Minot. The building was originally built and dedicated as the Minot Labor Temple. The Mouse River Players, a volunteer community theater group purchased the building in 2004. It was called the Mouse River Players Community Arts Center, but renamed after Arlene Saugstad in 2006.
Taube Museum of Art
The Taube Museum of Art is an art museum in Downtown Minot, North Dakota. The museum, previously known as the Minot Art Gallery, was named after Lillian and Coleman Taube. The organization was formed in 1970 and was initially located at the Linha home on US 83. It later moved to the Ward County Historical Society at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. In 1977, the group purchased the Union National Bank Building at 2 North Main Street.
