Jamestown is a city in Stutsman County, North Dakota in the United States. It is the county seat of Stutsman County. The population was 15,427 at the 2010 census, making it the eighth largest city in North Dakota. Jamestown was founded in 1872.
Jamestown College
Jamestown College is a private liberal arts college founded by the Presbyterian Church located in Jamestown, North Dakota, United States. It has about 1,000 students enrolled today and has been co-educational from its founding. In 2007, Jamestown became the first North Dakota college or university to make US News and World Report's "Tier 1" for undergraduate colleges in the Midwest, a distinction repeated annually ever since. As of 2011, Jamestown College ranks 33rd in the region.

World's Largest Buffalo
The "World's Largest Buffalo" is a sculpture of an American Bison located in Jamestown, North Dakota at the Frontier Village. It was commissioned in 1959 by local businessman Harold Newman, and built by art students from Jamestown College, under the supervision of art instructor and designer, Elmer Peterson. It is visible from Interstate 94, overlooking the city from above the James River valley.
