Lake Region State College
Lake Region State College (LRSC) is a two-year public college in Devils Lake, North Dakota. It was founded in 1941 as an extension of the public school system and first known as Devils Lake Junior College and Business School. Several name changes have occurred over the years ranging from Lake Region Junior College to Community College. The current name of Lake Region State College was adopted in 1999.

The Devils Lake Amtrak station is a train station in Devils Lake, North Dakota, served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. In FY10, an average of 17 passengers boarded or detrained at the station each day, making it the sixth busiest Amtrak station in the state. Devils Lake is served daily by Amtrak's Empire Builder, which stops in six other North Dakota cities.
KDLR
KDLR is an American commercial radio station licensed to serve Devils Lake, North Dakota. The station is owned by Double Z Broadcasting, Inc. , and operated along with its three sister stations under the collective name Lake Region Radio Works. It airs a classic country music format. KDLR was originally on 1300 kHz. It moved to 1210 kHz in 1928 then to 1240 kHz in 1941 as a result of the NARBA agreement. The station was assigned the KDLR call letters by the Federal Communications Commission.
