North Carolina State University
North Carolina State University at Raleigh (NCSU) is a public, coeducational, research university located in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Commonly known as N.C. State or simply 'State, the university is part of the University of North Carolina system and is a land, sea, and space grant institution. The university forms one of the corners of the Research Triangle together with Duke University in Durham and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

William Neal Reynolds Coliseum (opened 1949) is a multi-purpose arena located in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, on the campus of North Carolina State University. The arena was built to host a variety of events, including agricultural expositions and NC State basketball games. It is now home to all services of ROTC and several Wolfpack teams, including women's basketball, women's volleyball, women's gymnastics, and men's wrestling.
Pullen Park
Pullen Park is a 66.33 acres public park in Raleigh, North Carolina west of downtown, adjacent to the campus of North Carolina State University, between Western Boulevard and Hillsborough Street. The park features picnic areas, a concessions stand along with several small rides including the Pullen Park Carousel, train, and kiddie boats. Pedal boats are also available for rent seasonally on the park's large pond.
Riddick Stadium
Riddick Stadium (opened 1907, closed 1965) is a former college football stadium, home to the North Carolina State University Wolfpack football team. When the stadium was first opened it was referred to as "New Athletic Park". Later it was named Riddick Field and then Riddick Stadium, after W. C. Riddick, N.C. State football coach during the 1898-1899 seasons. The Wolfpack baseball team also played its home games in the stadium prior to moving to Doak Field.

D. H. Hill Library
The D. H. Hill Library is the main library at North Carolina State University. It is one of the best research libraries of the nation. It is the third building to house NCSU Libraries, following Brooks Hall and Holladay Hall. The current building, situated on the Hillsborough Street edge of North Campus, is the result of four stages of construction, and houses the majority of the volumes in NC State's collection.

Union Station (Raleigh, North Carolina)
The Union Station in Raleigh, North Carolina was constructed in 1890 by the Raleigh and Gaston Railroad, a predecessor of the Seaboard Air Line, at the corner of Dawson and West Martin streets. It also served the original Norfolk Southern Railway and the Southern Railway, with a total of four tracks. Being a stub-end station, Union Station was inconvenient to operate. Seaboard built a new run-through station for itself in 1942, as did Southern in 1950.
Jenkins Graduate College of Management
On September 21, 2007, the graduate programs in North Carolina State University's College of Management were brought under one name - the Jenkins Graduate School of Management. The programs were named in honor of Benjamin (Ben) P. Jenkins, III, a 1968 graduate of the university and vice-chairman and president of the General Bank at Wachovia Corporation.
Pullen Memorial Baptist Church
Pullen Memorial Baptist Church is an 850-member Baptist church located in Raleigh, North Carolina, US, that has a decades-long tradition of progressive stands on social issues. These have encompassed civil rights for African Americans and other minorities. In 1958, for instance, unlike most predominantly white Baptist congregations, the church stated it welcomed African Americans. In the last two decades, social issues have included Pullen Memorial's stance on sexual issues.
Cameron Village
Cameron Village was the first planned community to be developed in Raleigh, North Carolina. Development was started in 1947 when J.W. York and R. A Bryan bought 158 acres (0.64 km2) of undeveloped land two miles west of downtown Raleigh, near the North Carolina State University campus. The "village" was to consist of a shopping center, apartments, and single family homes. The shopping center opened in 1949, and quickly became the premier shopping area in Raleigh.

The Raleigh and Gaston / Seaboard Coast Line Building is an historic building in Raleigh, North Carolina that was once home to the Raleigh and Gaston Railroad and subsequently the Raleigh office of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad. The building is one of Raleigh's earliest surviving office buildings and is a designated Raleigh Historic Landmark.
Depot Historic District (Raleigh, North Carolina)
The Depot Historic District is an industrial and commercial neighborhood in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina that was the city's railroad and warehouse distribution hub from the 1850s to 1950s. Located two blocks west of Fayetteville Street and to the north and east of the Norfolk and Southern railroad tracks, the district contains four blocks of 35 brick buildings that date from the 1880s to early 1950s.
Saint Mary's School (Raleigh, North Carolina)
Saint Mary's School (formerly Saint Mary's College) is a private, four-year female boarding school serving grades 9-12 in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is operated as an independent school, but has an historic association with the Episcopal Church and has an episcopal chapel, St. Mary's Chapel, on the school's grounds. The school formerly operated as Saint Mary's College and educated girls in grades 11-12 and their freshman and sophomore years in college.
Thompson Gym
Thompson Gym, built in 1925, was the indoor arena of North Carolina State University until Reynolds Coliseum opened in 1949. The facility hosted mainly basketball games, including the Southern Conference men's basketball tournament from 1933 to 1946. Reynolds Coliseum has since been replaced by the RBC Center. The building has since been converted to a theater seating 250 people. It was named for Frank Martin Thompson, an NCSU athlete killed in World War I.
Exploris Middle School
Exploris Middle School is a Wake County public charter school founded in 1998 for the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Originally located in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina across from Moore Square Park, in 2009 the school moved to a new location on Hillsborough Street a few blocks from the Capital. Exploris`s address is 401 Hillsborough st. Raleigh NC 27603. The Exploris curriculum is interdisciplinary and theme-based.
Central Prison
Central Prison is a prison operated by the North Carolina Department of Correction (NCDOC) in Raleigh, North Carolina. The prison, west of Downtown Raleigh, is on 29 acres of land and is bounded by a double wire fence with a razor ribbon on top. NCDOC describes the original building as "castle-like. " Inmates built the prison for 14 years, and granite quarried from an area outside of what would become the east wall of the prison was used to build the facility.
First Church of Christ, Scientist (Raleigh, North Carolina)

Hillyer Memorial Christian Church (Raleigh, North Carolina)
Hillyer Memorial Christian Church is a historic church in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina located on Hillsborough Street. The church is affiliated with the Disciples of Christ. The current church was built in 1915. The church is named after the Hillyer family, who were patrons of the church and kept the church from going bankrupt during the Great Depression and the World Wars. The church is under the jurisdiction of the Church of the Disciples of Christ in North Carolina.
James B. Hunt Jr. Library
The James B. Hunt Jr. Library is the second main library of North Carolina State University (NCSU) and is located on the University's Centennial Campus. The facility and its corresponding parking deck cost over $100 million to build and officially opened on January 2, 2013. The library covers more than 221,000 square feet, is 88 feet high at its tallest point, and houses the University's engineering, textiles, and other science collections.
