Johnson C. Smith University
Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) is a private, co-ed, four-year research university of higher learning located in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. It is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. JCSU is also a historically black college. JCSU offers an assortment of academic programs, aimed at ensuring that its graduates are prepared for success in the workforce.
Harding University High School

The Irwin Belk Complex is a multi-use 4,500 seat stadium on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) in Biddleville, Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. The stadium plays host to JCSU events. It is named for a generous Charlotte benefactor, Irwin Belk of Belk stores fame. Mr. Belk has been a huge backer of college sports in the Carolinas.

Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology
Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology (also known as Berry or POB) is a magnet high school located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is part of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System and was opened in 2003. The mascot is a cardinal and the school colors are appropriately black and red (rarely, white and yellow are thrown into the mix when more colors are necessary). The school is named after educational activist Phillip O. Berry (1940–1984).
Coulwood (Charlotte neighborhood)
Coulwood is a collection of neighborhoods in Charlotte, North Carolina located between Brookshire Freeway and Mount Holly rd. This small town area was created around 1953 and in 1958 the Coulwood Community Council was created. This area is home to Paw Creek Elementary School and Coulwood Middle School as well as Coulwood Park and the Coulwood community pool.
Frazier Park (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Frazier Park is a 12 acres urban park at 1201 West 4th Street Ext in the Third Ward of Charlotte, North Carolina. It contains fields for soccer and football, courts for tennis and basketball, creekside trails, a playground for small children, and a dog park. Part of Charlotte's Irwin Creek Greenway, a paved and gravel greenway, runs through Frazier Park.
Bryant Park (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Bryant Park is a 8.7 acre urban park at 1701 West Morehead Street in the Wesley Heights neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. It contains a softball field and a multi-purpose public field. In 2003 the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission designated Bryant Park as a historic landmark. The park was constructed in the 1930s as WPA project and is noted for its unique network of stone walls and stone seating above the softball fields.

Irwin Creek Greenway
Irwin Creek Greenway is a linear park and stream restoration project in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. There are about 37 miles of developed greenways in Mecklenburg County, of which this is only one. Approximately 2.90 miles of the Irwin-Stewart Creek corridors have developed greenways. The urban part of the system runs through Frazier Park, connecting the Wesley Heights neighborhood to Charlotte's Third Ward.
