The Charlotte Coliseum was a multi-purpose sports and entertainment arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was operated by the Charlotte Coliseum Authority, which also oversees the operation of Bojangles' Coliseum (which was called Charlotte Coliseum prior to 1988), the Charlotte Convention Center, and Ovens Auditorium. It is best known as the home of the NBA's Charlotte Hornets from 1988–2002, and the Charlotte Bobcats from 2004–2005.

On the morning of September 11, 1974, while conducting an instrument approach in dense ground fog into Douglas Municipal Airport, Charlotte, North Carolina, the aircraft crashed just short of the runway, killing 71 on board.

Phase one of construction took place primarily from Starbrook Drive south to Sherbourne then spread north towards Archdale Drive at Phase two. Starmount homes were built to last using true pine 2 x 4s, hardwood floors and brick construction. 1,200-1,500 sq.
Sedgefield (Charlotte neighborhood)

Calvin Griffith Park
Clark Griffith Park was a stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, located at 400 Magnolia Avenue in the Dilworth section of town. The park opened in 1940 and held as many as 5,000 people in a covered grandstand which extended from first base to third base. It was primarily used for baseball, and served as the home field for the Charlotte Hornets, the farm team for the Washington Senators and Minnesota Twins from the 1940s to 1971, and the Charlotte Orioles from 1976 to 1985.

The Billy Graham Library is a public museum and library documenting the life and ministry of Christian evangelist Billy Graham. The 40,000-square-foot complex opened to the public on June 5, 2007. The library is located on the grounds of the international headquarters of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Charlotte, North Carolina, a few miles from where Graham was reared.

Clanton Park (Charlotte, North Carolina)
