Time Warner Cable Arena
Time Warner Cable Arena (originally Charlotte Bobcats Arena and commonly TWC Arena or The Cable Box), is an entertainment and sports venue, located in center city Charlotte, North Carolina. Its primary use is as the home court of the Charlotte Bobcats of the NBA. It made its grand opening in October 2005 as the Charlotte Bobcats Arena, with a concert by The Rolling Stones and hosted its first Bobcats game on November 5, 2005.
Trade and Tryon
The intersection of Trade and Tryon streets is the crossroads of Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina; it marks the city center and divides the city's first four wards. Locally referred to as simply The Square, this originated as the crossroads for a pair of native American trails. From this location, the city was founded and expanded. Tryon Street runs northeast-southwest, while Trade Street runs southeast-northwest.
Hearst Tower (Charlotte)
The Hearst Tower in Charlotte, North Carolina is a 47-story skyscraper along North Tryon Street that rises 659 feet (201 m) in height. It opened on 14 November 2002 and is the 4th-tallest building in Charlotte. The 32-story tower rests atop a 15-floor podium. Located within the podium is a three-story, 180,000-square-foot trading floor designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and operated by Bank of America. The building is currently owned by Parkway Properties, Inc.
North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center
Blumenthal Performing Arts (also NC Blumenthal Center and NCBPAC) is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It opened in 1992 and is named in honor of the people of the state of North Carolina and the Blumenthal Foundation established by I.D. Blumenthal who founded RSC Brands, the largest private donor to the capital campaign. The idea for the center dates back to the late 1970s.
Charlotte (Amtrak station)
The Charlotte Amtrak Station in Charlotte, North Carolina is served by three passenger trains. The street address is 1914 North Tryon Street, about 1.5 miles to the northeast of downtown Charlotte. The current station was built in 1961 by Southern Railway as a replacement for the former Southern Railway passenger station located near the intersection of Trade Street and 4th Street in downtown.
7th Street (LYNX station)

It is the northern terminus of the Blue Line. The station officially opened for service on Saturday, November 24, 2007, and as part of its opening celebration fares were not collected. Regular service with fare collection commenced on Monday, November 26, 2007.
NoDa (Charlotte neighborhood)

Tryon Street
Tryon Street is a major north-south street of Charlotte, North Carolina. It traverses through the center of Uptown Charlotte and is the address for some of the city's tallest buildings like the Bank of America Corporate Center and Hearst Tower. U.S. Route 29 and North Carolina Highway 49 are signed along portions of Tryon Street (although they both deviate onto Graham Street through Uptown).
Hawthorne High School (North Carolina)

ImaginOn: The Joe and Joan Martin Center is a collaborative venture of the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County (officially known as the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library) and the Children's Theater of Charlotte located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This 102,000-square-foot landmark learning center opened on October 8, 2005. ImaginOn was designed by Gantt Huberman Architects and Holz Mossman Architects, and is owned by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.

New Life Theological Seminary is an evangelical Christian seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. The Seminary was established in 1996 by Eddie G. Grigg, a pastor, educator, and theologian. The Seminary was approved as a degree granting institution in 1997. Grigg holds an honorary doctorate awarded by New Life Theological Seminary.

Thomas Polk
Thomas Polk (c. 1732–January 25, 1794) was a planter, military officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War from 1775 to 1781, and a politician who served in the North Carolina House of Commons, North Carolina Provincial Congress, and Council of State. Polk commanded the 4th North Carolina Regiment in the Battle of Brandywine. In 1786, Polk was elected by the North Carolina General Assembly to the Congress of the Confederation, but did not attend any of its sessions.
