Mint Hill is a suburban town in southeastern Mecklenburg and northwestern Union counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina, it is a major suburb on the outskirts of Charlotte and near the Cabarrus County line. The population was 23,341 at the 2000 census.

Eastland Mall (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Eastland Mall was a shopping mall in Charlotte, North Carolina. The center opened in 1975 as the then-largest mall in North Carolina with three anchor department stores, Belk, J.C. Penney and Ivey's, and a Sears store joined four years later. Burlington Coat Factory, the mall's final anchor, has closed, leaving all anchors vacant. The mall was owned by Glimcher Realty Trust and the City of Charlotte.

WFAE is a National Public Radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina broadcasting at 90.7 MHz on the FM dial. The station went on the air on June 29, 1981 on 90.9 FM as a service of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, taking over from a student-run carrier current station that had begun operation in the mid-1970s.
