Myers Park (Charlotte neighborhood)
Myers Park is a neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. Though its boundaries originally coincided with the boundaries of the 1,220-acre John Spring Myers farm, the neighborhood, by 2008, comprised 2,200 acres and had a population of 9,809. Myers Park is bounded by Queens Road to the north; Providence Road to the east; Sharon Road to the south; and Park Road to the west.

American Legion Memorial Stadium
American Legion Memorial Stadium is 21,000-capacity stadium located on 7th Street in the Elizabeth community of Charlotte, North Carolina. Memorial Stadium is mainly used for high school sporting events and also serves as a public venue. Prior to the construction of nearby Bank of America Stadium, Memorial Stadium was Charlotte's largest outdoor venue, and is still the largest municipal venue in the city.
Grady Cole Center
Grady Cole Center is a small civic center located near Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 3,000 seat center is located near the city's center, and can host several types of events. It was built in 1954 to replace the Charlotte Armory Arena, which had been destroyed by fire. Originally the Park Center, it was renamed in 1987 in honor of WBT Radio morning personality, Grady Cole.

Ovens Auditorium is an auditorium located adjacent to Bojangles' Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. Opened in 1955, Ovens has a seating capacity of 2,455, and has hosted over 7,500 events (as of April 2009). It is managed by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority.

Elizabeth (Charlotte neighborhood)
Elizabeth takes its name from Elizabeth College, a small Lutheran women’s college founded in 1897 on the present-day site of Presbyterian Hospital. Elizabeth began to develop rapidly after 1902, when a trolley line was completed, and was annexed in 1907. Home of Independence Park, the first public park in the city, Elizabeth became one of the most fashionable residential areas in Charlotte in its early days. In 2006 Elizabeth had a population of 3,908.
North Charlotte (Charlotte neighborhood)
North Charlotte is a neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. North Charlotte, contrary to its name, comprises a large section of the city's east side. North Charlotte is one of Charlotte's oldest neighborhoods and can trace its history back to the early 1880s when Mecklenburg's economy was still heavily reliant on the textile industry. As a result many former mill buildings dot the landscape of the area which is home to Charlotte's arts district, North Davidson, or "NoDa".
Hawthorne High School (North Carolina)

New Life Theological Seminary is an evangelical Christian seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. The Seminary was established in 1996 by Eddie G. Grigg, a pastor, educator, and theologian. The Seminary was approved as a degree granting institution in 1997. Grigg holds an honorary doctorate awarded by New Life Theological Seminary.
King's College (Charlotte, North Carolina)
King’s College is a small, for-profit career college founded in 1901. Located in Charlotte, NC, in the Elizabeth area just south of downtown, over half of students come from the Charlotte area. There is also on-campus housing for students. King’s College awards both diplomas and Associate's degrees. The school's focus is on job placement for its graduates. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Most students are told to not use F.A.S. A because king's will take care of it for them.
108th Training Command (Initial Entry Training)

Marshall Park (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Marshall Park is a six and a half acre urban park at 800 East Third Street in the Second Ward of Charlotte, North Carolina. It features a large fountain and a lake, an amphitheater, a statue of Martin Luther King, and a Holocaust memorial monument. The park contains large open grassy areas with an unobstructed view of the Charlotte skyline. The Park is named for James B. Marshall who was the City Manager of Charlotte from 1935 through 1940.
Independence Park (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Independence Park is a 24 acre urban park at 300 Hawthorne Lane situated at the western end of the Elizabeth neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. The park was created in 1924 at the urging of Charlotte industrialist Daniel Augustus Tompkins, founder of the Charlotte Observer, and is the oldest public park in Charlotte. Independence Park is split into two sections by Hawthorne Lane.

It was founded in 1992 by Charlotte acting instructor Ed Gilweit as an actor's teaching school. In 2000 Gilweit's company partnered with a video and stage production company run by Michael Simmons called Victory Pictures, Inc.

Cordelia Park was designed to be kid-friendly and is one of the five Charlotte parks that feature a "sprayground", a water themed playground where children can splash and jump.
Midtown Park (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Midtown Park is a one acre minipark at South Kings Drive and Pearl Park Way in Charlotte, North Carolina. Opened in the spring of 2012, it contains stonework and shade trees surrounding a rectangular lawn and is suitable for weddings as well as performance art and other public events. The park features several sculptures, including a seven foot diameter spherical metallic piece called the Braille Music Box by artists Po Shu Wang and Louise Bertelsen.
Little Sugar Creek Greenway
Little Sugar Creek Greenway is a linear park and stream restoration project in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. When completed it will consist of twenty miles of trails and paved walkways running from Cordelia Park just north of uptown Charlotte, then south through midtown Charlotte, and continuing all the way to the South Carolina state line.
