Greensboro Listen/ˈɡriːnzbʌroʊ/ is a city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is the third-largest city by population in North Carolina and the largest city in Guilford County and the surrounding Piedmont Triad metropolitan region. Battle of Guilford Court House
The Battle of Guilford Court House was a battle fought on March 15, 1781 in Greensboro, the county seat of Guilford County, North Carolina, during the American Revolutionary War. A 1,900-man British force under the command of Lieutenant General Charles Cornwallis defeated Major General Nathanael Greene's 4,000 Americans. Despite the relatively small numbers of troops involved, the battle is considered pivotal to the American victory in the Revolution.

Guilford Court House, North Carolina

The Bog Garden
