The University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), formerly the North Carolina School of the Arts, is a public coeducational arts conservatory in Winston-Salem, North Carolina that grants high school, undergraduate and graduate degrees. Marketplace Mall is a one-story shopping mall on Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Its main anchor store is Hamrick's. The mall opened in 1984. Hamrick's was added in 1995. BB&T Ballpark
BB&T Ballpark is a ballpark in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, that replaced Ernie Shore Field. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Winston-Salem Dash minor league baseball team. The ballpark is bounded by Peters Creek Parkway (northwest/west); 1st Street (north); and Green Street (northeast, left-center field). Business I-40 is toward the south/southeast. Reynolds Building
The Reynolds Building is a 314ft (96m) skyscraper in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It was completed in 1929 and has 21 floors. When completed as the headquarters of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, it was the tallest building in the United States south of Baltimore, Maryland, and it won a national architecture award. The building is well known for being the predecessor and prototype for the much larger Empire State Building that was built in 1931 in New York City.

Carpenter Library and Dorothy Carpenter Medical Archives, located at Wake Forest School of Medicine, is a library named after the first dean of the university's medical school, Coy Cornelius Carpenter, M.D. , and his wife, Dorothy (Mitten) Carpenter.
