Biltmore Forest, North Carolina
Biltmore Forest is an affluent town in Buncombe County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,559 in 2008. It is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Biltmore Village
Biltmore Village, formerly Best, is a small village that is now entirely in the city limits of Asheville, North Carolina. It is adjacent to the main entrance of the Biltmore Estate, built by George W. Vanderbilt, one of the heirs to the Vanderbilt family fortune. Once known as the town of Best, George Vanderbilt created this village as a "company town" for the estate workers. The community was planned and designed to reflect the qualities of an English country village.
Swannanoa River
The Swannanoa River flows through the Swannanoa Valley of western North Carolina, and is a major tributary to the French Broad River. It begins at its headwaters in Black Mountain, NC, however, it also has a major tributary near its headwaters: Flat Creek, which begins on the slopes of Mount Mitchell. The Swannanoa River ends when it meets the French Broad at Biltmore Estate in Asheville.

Carolina Day School is an independent, co-ed, college preparatory school serving grades pre-k through 12. The school is located in the historic Biltmore Forest neighborhood of Asheville, North Carolina. It consists of a lower, middle, and upper school. While classes in both the lower and upper schools have mixed genders, the middle school serves as a member of the Gurian Institute, which practices gender-specific learning. In 2006 the school was designated a Gurian Model School.

T.C. Roberson is a high school in the Buncombe County Schools System in Asheville, North Carolina. It is located at 250 Overlook Road, Asheville, NC 28803. TC Roberson High School was founded when Valley Springs High School and Biltmore High School were combined to form one high school. It is named for Thomas Crawford Roberson, a former Superintendent of Buncombe County Schools and the architect of the consolidation of 21 county high schools into the 6 county high schools that exist today.
