Cragsmoor is a hamlet in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 449 at the 2010 census. Cragsmoor is located atop the Shawangunk Ridge, in the south part of the Town of Wawarsing. Sam's Point Preserve is near Cragsmoor.
Walker Valley, New York
Walker Valley is a hamlet located in the western part of the Town of Shawangunk in Ulster County, New York, U.S. , generally thought of as coterminous with the 12588 ZIP code. The population was 853 at the 2010 census. Walker Valley is one of the three geographic parts of the town that local residents use. It is centered around NY 52 in the western part of town, where it begins to slope up to the Shawangunk Ridge.

The Nevele (NEV-uh-lee) dated back to the days of the Borscht Belt, opening in 1903. “Nevele” is “Eleven” spelled backwards — according to lore, after the eleven nineteenth-century schoolteachers who discovered a waterfall within its present-day property.
