Setauket-East Setauket is a census-designated place (CDP) in Suffolk County, New York, on the North Shore of Long Island. It is located along the island's "Gold Coast". As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP population was 15,477. The CDP encompasses the hamlets of Setauket and East Setauket in the Town of Brookhaven. The former, once known as West Setauket, now includes the Old Setauket Historic District around the Setauket Mill Pond.

Joe Nathan Field
Joe Nathan Field is a baseball field on the campus of Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, USA. It is also referred to as the Stony Brook Baseball Field. The field is home to the Stony Brook Seawolves baseball team of the NCAA Division I America East Conference. It is located at the northern end of the school's athletics complex. The facility was known as Seawolves Field through the 2002 season, when its name was changed to University Field.
Setauket (LIRR station)
Setauket was a station stop along the Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. The station was established in 1873, a freight station was built around 1877 and used as a depot. Another depot was built around 1883 and razed on October 3, 1960. It was discontinued as a stop around 1980. The station was located between the Stony Brook and Port Jefferson Stations on the north side of the tracks just east of the bridge where Gnarled Hollow Road passes under the tracks in Setauket.
Battle of Setauket
The Battle of Setauket (August 22, 1777) was a failed attack during the American Revolutionary War on a fortified Loyalist outpost in Setauket, Long Island, New York, by a force of Continental Army troops from Connecticut under the command of Brigadier General Samuel Holden Parsons. In an attempt to repeat the success of the earlier Meigs Raid against Sag Harbor, Parsons' force crossed Long Island Sound to attack the Loyalist position.
