Prospect Park (Troy, New York)
Prospect Park in Troy, New York, is an 80-acre city park that was designed in 1903 by Garnet Baltimore, the first African-American graduate of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). The park is located off Congress Street, south and slightly west of the RPI campus, in the Mount Ida section of Troy.
Lally School of Management & Technology

Carnegie Building
The Carnegie Building is the current home of the Cognitive Science Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. It is one of the western-most buildings on the campus and as such provides scenic views overlooking the city of Troy and the Hudson River. The four-story building is named for Andrew Carnegie who donated $125,000 for its construction, which was completed in 1906.
Amos Eaton Hall
Amos Eaton Hall is the current home of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. It is named for Amos Eaton, the co-founder and first senior professor of Rensselaer. Amos Eaton Hall is the only building on the campus referred to by both first and last name. The building opened in 1928.
Greene Building, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
The Greene Building is home of the School of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Named for Benjamin Franklin Greene, it has its own library for use by the architecture students. The second floor contains a gallery for students’ work, the basement third, and fourth floors contain multiple studios,open 24 hours a day for students and faculty to complete projects. Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center
The Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) is a multi-venue arts center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, which opened on October 3, 2008. The director of EMPAC is Johannes Goebel. He was previously the director of the Institute for Music and Acoustics, which he founded at the Center for Art and Media Technology (ZKM) in Karlsruhe, Germany.

The Troy Public library is the main public library building in the city of Troy, New York, and is located across the street from Russell Sage College in downtown Troy. It has two other branches, the Lansingburgh branch and the Sycaway branch. Both branches were temporarily closed in January 2009. The first library began in 1799.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church (Troy, New York)
St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Troy, New York, United States, is located at Third and State streets. It is home to one of the oldest congregations in the city. In 1979, the church and two outbuildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places. Seven years later, when the Central Troy Historic District was created and added to the Register, it was listed as a contributing property. St. Paul’s is one of the oldest churches in Troy; the first Episcopal services were held in 1795.
