The West Side Tennis Club is a private tennis club located in Forest Hills, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. The Club has 38 tennis courts in all four surfaces, a junior Olympic swimming pool and other amenities. It is most notable for hosting the US Open Tennis Championships a total of 60 times, first from 1915 to 1920, and then again from 1924 to 1977. In addition, the finals of the Davis Cup were held at the club 10 times, more than any other venue.

Parkside (LIRR station)
Parkside is a former elevated Long Island Rail Road station just north of Metropolitan Avenue on the border between Middle Village and Forest Hills in Queens, New York City. Opened on September 15, 1927, the wooden station was part of the Rockaway Beach Branch and was the northernmost station on the branch before the junction with the Main Line at Rego Park Station and the creation of the Grand Street Station in Elmhurst.

Queens Metropolitan High School (QMHS) is a public high school in Forest Hills, Queens. It is generally referred to simply as "QMHS," or just "'Queens Metro" by the students. It is on the south side of Metropolitan Avenue at 91-30 Metropolitan Avenue, between the Rockaway Cut-off of the Long Island Railroad and 69th Avenue. There is two entrances, the well known one on Metropolitan Avenue, and the less known one behind the school.
