Corona, Queens
Corona is a densely populated neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens, in the United States. It is neighbored by Flushing to the east, Jackson Heights to the west, Forest Hills and Rego Park to the south, Elmhurst to the southwest, and East Elmhurst to the north. Corona has a multicultural population with a Latino majority, and is the site of historic African American and Italian American communities. There is also a significant Chinese population.
Queens Center
Queens Center is an urban shopping mall in the Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens, New York City, United States. It is located at the intersection of Queens Boulevard and Woodhaven Boulevard, adjacent to the Woodhaven Boulevard station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line of the New York City Subway. It is across the street from St. Johns Hospital and the Rock Church. It is also off Exit 19 on Interstate 495 (the Long Island Expressway). Queens Center Mall is the largest mall in Queens.
LeFrak City, Queens
LeFrak City is a very large apartment development in the southernmost region of Corona, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It is located between Junction Boulevard, 57th Avenue, 99th Street and the Long Island Expressway. The complex of twenty eighteen-story (technically sixteen-story, since the lobbies are the 2nd floors and there are no 13th floors) apartment towers covers 40 acres (162,000 m²) and currently houses over 14,000 people.
Far Rockaway Branch
The Far Rockaway Branch is an electrified rail line and service owned and operated by the Long Island Rail Road in the U.S. state of New York. The branch begins at Valley Interlocking, just east of Valley Stream station; the Long Beach Branch also begins there, heading east and south to Long Beach, and the Atlantic Branch heads west to Jamaica. From Valley Stream, the line heads south and southwest through southwestern Nassau County, ending at Far Rockaway in Queens.
63rd Drive – Rego Park (IND Queens Boulevard Line)
63rd Drive – Rego Park is a local station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line of the New York City Subway, located at 63rd Drive and Queens Boulevard in the Rego Park neighborhood of Queens. It is served by the R train at all times except late nights, when the E train replaces it as the local along Queens Boulevard. The M train provides additional service here on weekdays. This underground station, opened on December 31, 1936, has four tracks and two side platforms.
Woodhaven Boulevard (IND Queens Boulevard Line)
Woodhaven Boulevard is a local station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line of the New York City Subway. It is served by the R train at all times except late nights, when the E train replaces it as the local along Queens Boulevard. The M train provides additional service here on weekdays. There were plans to convert this four track station into an express stop once the line from lower Roosevelt Avenue Terminal station and the Rockaway–Winfeld Spur opened.
High School for Arts and Business
High School for Arts and Business is a public high school in New York City, located in Corona in the borough of Queens. It has an enrollment of 779. The building was previously utilized as a bowling alley. Later, on February 1, 1973 the building was first occupied as a school, Newtown High School Annex. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the New York City Department of Education, and has an overall 60% graduation rate with many students going to college.
Rockaway Beach Branch
The Rockaway Beach Branch was a rail line owned and operated by the Long Island Rail Road in Queens, New York City, United States. The line left the Main Line at Whitepot Junction in Rego Park {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40.7254|-73.8608||||||| | |name= }} heading south via Ozone Park and across Jamaica Bay to Hammels in the Rockaways {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40.5913|-73.8088||||||| | |name= }} turning west there to a terminal at Rockaway Park.

Rego Park (LIRR station)
Rego Park is a former Long Island Rail Road station. It was made of wood, unlike most other stations that were concrete. The station opened in May 1928 with two side platforms outside the two Rockaway Beach Branch tracks that bracketed the four-track Main Line, so only Rockaway trains stopped there. After the Rockaway Trestle fire in 1950, the line was closed station by station. The station closed on June 8, 1962, one day before the Rockaway Beach Branch was abandoned.

Rego Center is the name of a shopping mall located at Junction Boulevard and 62nd Drive, next to the Long Island Expressway, in Rego Park, Queens, New York.
Corona (LIRR station)
Corona was a station stop along the Port Washington Branch of the Long Island Rail Road in the Corona section of Queens, New York City. It was one of two station built by the Flushing Railroad in Corona, this one having been at National Street and 45th Avenue. The station first opened as Fashion Race Course around March, 1853, then renamed West Flushing and later renamed Corona around June, 1872. The second depot built around September, 1872 and was burned down by December 9, 1880.
