Douglaston, Queens
Douglaston, population 14,168 (2000 Census), is a upper class and wealthy community in the New York City borough of Queens. Douglaston comprises six distinct neighborhoods: Doug Bay, Douglas Manor, and Douglaston Hill, all located north of Northern Boulevard on the peninsula abutting Little Neck Bay; Douglaston Park, located between Northern Boulevard and the Long Island Expressway; and two areas south of the Expressway, Winchester Estates and an area simply known as Douglaston.
Benjamin N. Cardozo High School
Benjamin N. Cardozo High School is a public high school in Bayside, Queens a borough of New York City, USA. The school is named for Benjamin N. Cardozo, who served as chief judge of the New York Court of Appeals and then as a justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Little Neck, Queens
Little Neck is a upper middle class neighborhood of Queens, New York City, bordered on the north by Little Neck Bay and on the east by Great Neck in Nassau County. Due to this proximity to Nassau, Little Neck remains one of the most suburban-looking areas in New York City. The southern border is the Grand Central Parkway, and to the west is Douglaston. The Little Neck station is the easternmost New York City station on the Port Washington Branch of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR).
Queens Giant
The Queens Giant (also known as the Alley Pond Giant or Alley Pond Park Giant) is an old Tulip Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) located in Alley Pond Park in the borough of Queens, New York City. It is the tallest carefully measured tree in New York City. It is also probably the oldest living thing in the New York metropolitan area. As of 2005, the tree measures 133.8 feet tall and is probably 350-400 (and possibly as many as 450) years old.

Douglaston is a station in the Douglaston section of Queens in New York City on the Port Washington Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. The station is at 235th Street and 41st Avenue, off Douglaston Parkway and Wainscott Avenue, and is 13.9 miles (22.4 km) from Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. The station is part of CityTicket, and has an underground walkway between the two platforms.
Little Neck (LIRR station)
Little Neck is a station in the Little Neck section of Queens, the last station in the branch in New York City on the Port Washington Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. The station is at Little Neck Parkway and 39th Road, about half a mile (800 m) north of Northern Boulevard, and is 14.5 miles (23.3 km) from Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. The station house is unusual for this line in standing on the south (eastbound) side. The station is part of the CityTicket program and is in Zone 3.

Douglaston Park is a public park and golf course located in the Douglaston section of Queens, New York City. It is the former location of the North Hills Country Club.
Alley Pond Park
Alley Pond Park is the second-largest public park in Queens, New York. It occupies 655.294 acres, most of it acquired and cleared by the city in 1929, as authorized by a resolution of the New York City Board of Estimate in 1927. The park is bordered to the east by Douglaston, to the west by Bayside, to the north by Little Neck Bay, and to the south by Union Turnpike. It is run and operated by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
Zion Episcopal Church (Douglaston, New York)
Zion Church is an inclusive Episcopal congregation in Douglaston, New York with members from throughout the borough of Queens, as well as from Nassau County. Zion is within the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, and is one of the oldest churches in Queens, having stood at the top of the hill overlooking Douglaston and Little Neck for over 180 years.
