111th Street (IRT Flushing Line)
111th Street is a local station on the IRT Flushing Line of the New York City Subway. It is served by the 7 train at all times. It has four tracks and two side platforms on the main level. At this point, the express track "flies" over the other four tracks. The two center tracks are yard leads of the Corona Yard, home of the 7 train. As a result, trains that go to/from the yard often terminate or begin at this station.

The Queens Zoo is a 18-acre zoo located in Flushing Meadows – Corona Park in the New York City borough of Queens. The zoo is part of an integrated system of four zoos and one aquarium managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society in partnership with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
LeFrak City, Queens
LeFrak City is a very large apartment development in the southernmost region of Corona, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It is located between Junction Boulevard, 57th Avenue, 99th Street and the Long Island Expressway. The complex of twenty eighteen-story (technically sixteen-story, since the lobbies are the 2nd floors and there are no 13th floors) apartment towers covers 40 acres (162,000 m²) and currently houses over 14,000 people.

High School for Arts and Business
High School for Arts and Business is a public high school in New York City, located in Corona in the borough of Queens. It has an enrollment of 779. The building was previously utilized as a bowling alley. Later, on February 1, 1973 the building was first occupied as a school, Newtown High School Annex. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the New York City Department of Education, and has an overall 60% graduation rate with many students going to college.
Terrace on the Park
Terrace on the Park is a banquet hall in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park. The building was constructed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to serve as the heliport for the 1964 New York World's Fair. It is located to the south of the New York Hall of Science. The bulk of the building is suspended in the air by four supports. It has an excellent view of New York City including the Manhattan skyline.
North Corona, Queens
North Corona is the northern section of the historic Corona neighborhood. It was created in 1978 with the formation of the city's Community Boards and Community Districts, and the need for co-terminious borders. It is a low income neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. The area is roughly defined by 89th Street to the west, Roosevelt Avenue to the south, the Grand Central Parkway to the east, and 32nd Avenue and Astoria Boulevard to the north.
Roosevelt Avenue
Roosevelt Avenue is a main thoroughfare in the New York City borough of Queens. Roosevelt Avenue begins at 48th Street and Queens Boulevard in the neighborhood of Sunnyside. West of Queens Boulevard, the road is named Greenpoint Avenue and continues across the Greenpoint Avenue Bridge into the borough of Brooklyn, terminating at West Street and the East River in the neighborhood of Greenpoint.
Corona (LIRR station)
Corona was a station stop along the Port Washington Branch of the Long Island Rail Road in the Corona section of Queens, New York City. It was one of two station built by the Flushing Railroad in Corona, this one having been at National Street and 45th Avenue. The station first opened as Fashion Race Course around March, 1853, then renamed West Flushing and later renamed Corona around June, 1872. The second depot built around September, 1872 and was burned down by December 9, 1880.
Flushing Meadows Carousel
The Flushing Meadows Carousel sits in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in the New York City borough of Queens. It is the combination of two carousels, the Feltman’s Carousel (1903) and the Stubbman Carousel (1908). The machine contains 4 rows of horses with 64 jumpers and 7 standers. 47 horses and the frame are from the Stubbman Carousel, 24 horses are from the Feltman’s Carousel.
