Queens Village, Queens
Queens Village is a mostly residential middle class neighborhood in the eastern part of the New York City borough of Queens. The Queens Village Post Office serves the ZIP codes of 11427, 11428 (central Queens Village), and 11429. The neighborhood is part of Queens Community Board 13. Shopping in the community is located along Braddock Avenue, Hillside Avenue, Hempstead Avenue, and Jamaica Avenue, as well as on Springfield Boulevard.
Laurelton, Queens
Laurelton is a upper middle class neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It is now largely a upper middle class neighborhood. In the 1930s through 1970s and beyond, the neighborhood was populated by many Jewish Americans, but succeeding generations have been made up of people of diverse backgrounds, including African-Americans who moved up from the South. The neighborhood is part of Queens Community Board 13. Laurelton is part of the former town of Jamaica.
Cambria Heights, Queens
Cambria Heights is a middle-class neighborhood in the southeastern portion of the New York City borough of Queens. It is bounded by Springfield Boulevard and Francis Lewis Boulevard to the west, the Elmont, Nassau County border on the east, Queens Village to the north, St. Albans to the west, and Montefiore Cemetery and Laurelton and Rosedale to the south. As of 2007, Cambria Heights's population is 20,128. The neighborhood is part of Queens Community Board 13.
Belmont Park (LIRR station)
Belmont Park is a seasonal-use Long Island Rail Road station on the grounds of the Belmont Park racetrack in Elmont, New York. The station is open and train service is operated only during the racing seasons of Belmont Park. The station is a terminus of a spur line that lies south of and between the Queens Village and Bellerose stations on the Main Line/Hempstead Branch. In consistency with the names of other lines and branches of the LIRR, the spur line is called the Belmont Park Branch.
Springfield Boulevard
Springfield Boulevard is a major north/south roadway that runs through the eastern section of Queens, New York. It goes from Northern Boulevard in Bayside, to 147th Ave in Springfield Gardens. Springfield Boulevard runs through Bayside, Oakland Gardens, Queens Village, Cambria Heights, Laurelton, Springfield Gardens and along the eastern border of St. Albans. The name "Springfield," derived from the Springfield Armory, is one of several firearms-oriented street names in the area.
Ohel (Chabad)
The Ohel is the name of a religious shrine in Queens, New York, to which tens of thousands of Jews make a pilgrimage each year. The last Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, and his father-in-law Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schneersohn (the two most recent leaders of the Chabad-Lubavitch school of Hasidic Judaism) are interred there. Many Lubavitchers visit the shrine especially on the anniversary of Schneerson's death on the Hebrew calendar.

Bellaire (LIRR station)
Bellaire was a station stop along the Hempstead Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. Originally, it was the site of a station known as Brushville in 1837 which opened along with the rest of the LIRR Main Line to Hicksville, New York. The station was razed sometime in 1871.
