Woodhaven, Queens
Woodhaven is a middle class neighborhood located in the New York City borough of Queens. Woodhaven is bordered on the north by a public park, Forest Park, and Park Lane South. Woodhaven also borders Richmond Hill to the east, and Ozone Park to the south at Atlantic Avenue. Its western border is the borough of Brooklyn. Woodhaven, once known as Woodville, has one of the greatest tree populations in the borough, and thus it has retained its suburban look.

104th Street (BMT Jamaica Line)
104th Street is a skip-stop station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway, located on Jamaica Avenue between 102nd and 104th Streets in Richmond Hill, Queens. It is served by the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction and by the J train at all other times. This elevated station opened on June 11, 1917 under the Brooklyn Union Elevated Railroad, an affiliate of the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company.
111th Street (BMT Jamaica Line)
111th Street is a skip-stop station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 111th Street and Jamaica Avenue in Richmond Hill, Queens, it is served at all times by the J train. The Z train bypasses the station when it operates. This elevated station, opened on June 11, 1917, has three tracks and two side platforms. The center track dead ends at bumper blocks on both sides of the station and has connections to both local tracks.
Woodhaven Boulevard (BMT Jamaica Line)
Woodhaven Boulevard is a station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway, located in Woodhaven, Queens. It is served by J train at all times and the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction. This elevated station, opened on June 11, 1917, has two tracks and two side platforms with space for a center track. Both platforms have beige windscreens and brown canopies with green roofs along the entire length except for a section at the west end.
85th Street – Forest Parkway (BMT Jamaica Line)
85th Street – Forest Parkway is a skip-stop station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. The J train serves this station at all times. The Z train bypasses when it operates. The north exit leads to 85th street and has a crossunder. The south exit, which leads to Forest Parkway, is closed.
Brooklyn–Queens Greenway
The Brooklyn-Queens Greenway is a bicycling and pedestrian path connecting parks and roads in the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, connecting Coney Island in the south to Fort Totten in the north, on Long Island Sound. The route connects major sites in the two boroughs, such as the New York Aquarium, Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the New York Hall of Science and Citi Field.

Brooklyn Manor (LIRR station)
Brooklyn Manor was a station on the Long Island Rail Road's Rockaway Beach branch in New York City on the south side of Jamaica Avenue at 100th Street at the border between Richmond Hill and Woodhaven, Queens. The elevated station was constructed from wood—unusual for the Rockaway Beach branch, as most other stations were made of concrete. The station name referred to the nearby Brooklyn Manor section of Woodhaven (originally a 603 lot development located from Woodhaven Blvd.
Brooklyn Hills (LIRR station)
Brooklyn Hills is a former Long Island Rail Road station. Opened in 1882 by the New York, Woodhaven and Rockaway Railroad, the station was part of the Rockaway Beach Branch, which ceased operations on June 8, 1962. One of the oldest stations on the line, Brooklyn Hills Station was the first station to close. It was demolished on January 9, 1911 and replaced by the larger Brooklyn Manor Station.
High School for Construction Trades, Engineering and Architecture
The High School for Construction Trades Engineering and Architecture is a New York-based preparatory school for art, industry, and technology. This school was established in 2006 by the New York State Department of Education. It was intended to support its students to the fields of architecture, engineering or construction trades. In the 2009-2010 school year this high school had its first graduating class.
