Brewster Hill, New York
Brewster Hill is a hamlet located in the town of Southeast in Putnam County, New York, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,089. Brewster Hill is located on the east side of Tonetta Lake and is east of Interstate 84.
Southeast (Metro-North station)
Southeast (formerly known as Brewster North) is a Metro-North Railroad station serving the residents of Southeast, New York via the Harlem Line. Trains leave for New York City every hour, and about every 30 minutes during rush hour. It is the terminus of the Harlem Line electrified service. For travel farther north to Wassaic, passengers must transfer here to diesel powered service. Exceptions are rush hours and a direct round-trip to Grand Central on weekends.
Tilly Foster Mine
The Tilly Foster Mine was an iron mine two miles west of the village of Brewster, New York, along Route 6. The Tilly Foster Mine was named after Tillingham Foster, who bought the land that the mine was on from George Beale. After Foster's death in 1842, the property passed through several hands before it came into the possession of Harvey Iron and Steel Company. The mine opened in 1853 and employed large numbers of Irish and Italian immigrants.

The Bog Brook Reservoir is a 379-acre reservoir in the Croton Watershed in southern New York State. It is located in the town of Southeast, New York in Putnam County, and is approximately 38 miles (over 60 kilometres) north of New York City, to which it supplies water. It was formed by the damming of Bog Brook, a small tributary of the East Branch of the Croton River, which is in turn a tributary of the Croton River.

Tonetta Lake
Tonetta Lake (also known as Lake Tonetta) is a freshwater lake located in the town of Southeast, New York, north of the village of Brewster. Lake Tonetta has the only public beach in Southeast, accessible to town residents and their guests. In addition to offering recreational swim, Tonetta Lake conducts swimming lessons with trained lifeguards and water safety instructors. Several hundred children register annually for swimming lessons.
