Beaverdam Lake–Salisbury Mills, New York
Beaverdam Lake-Salisbury Mills was a census-designated place (CDP) in Orange County, New York, United States. It encompassed a region in the corner of the towns of Blooming Grove, Cornwall, and New Windsor. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,779. For the 2010 census, the area was counted as two separate CDPs: Beaver Dam Lake (pop. 2,242) in the towns of Blooming Grove and New Windsor and Salisbury Mills (pop. 536) in the towns of Blooming Grove and Cornwall.

Little Britain, New York
Little Britain, New York is an area in Orange County. The name spread to the surrounding region, which at that time was part of Ulster County, New York. It is in the Town of New Windsor. It was settled by Charles Clinton (et al. ) in 1731, who in 1729 resolved to emigrate to British America and having persuaded a number of his friends and relatives to join him, he chartered a ship, for the purpose of conveying his colony to Philadelphia.

The Salisbury Mills–Cornwall station, on the Metro-North Railroad Port Jervis Line, is in the Town of Cornwall in Orange County, New York. Travel time from there to Hoboken Terminal, 55.4 miles (89 km) away, is about one hour and 20 minutes. The single track station is located immediately north of the Moodna Viaduct, with direct access from NY 94.
Browns Pond
Browns Pond, in the Town of New Windsor in Orange County, New York, USA, is the smaller of two reservoirs for the nearby City of Newburgh. It is hook-shaped, with the circuitous Mount Airy Road running past both ends. Its outlet streams ultimately feed Silver Stream, which also drains the larger reservoir, Lake Washington. The Catskill Aqueduct, which the city uses as a supplementary supply, runs between the two. Unlike Lake Washington, there are no recreational facilities on the reservoir.

It draws students from portions of three towns: Cornwall, New Windsor, and Woodbury, as well as the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson.
