Barnard College
Barnard College is a private women's liberal arts college and a member of the Seven Sisters. Founded in 1889, it has been affiliated with Columbia University since 1900. Barnard's 4-acre campus stretches along Broadway between 116th and 120th Streets in the Morningside Heights neighborhood in the borough of Manhattan, in New York City. Columbia University tunnels
Columbia University has an extensive tunnel system connecting most buildings on campus and acting as conduits for steam, electricity, telecommunications, and other infrastructure. The oldest tunnels are from the mental asylum that existed before the Morningside Campus was built. These tunnels are small and extremely hot, and they connect to Buell/La Maison Française, the one building remaining from the asylum.

116th Street – Columbia University (IRT Broadway – Seventh Avenue Line)
116th Street – Columbia University is a local station on the IRT Broadway – Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, served by the 1 train at all times. It is located at the intersection of Broadway and 116th Street, just outside of the west gate to the main campus of Columbia University and the southeast corner of the Barnard College campus. The express track that passes through the station is currently unused in revenue service.

Levien Gymnasium
Francis S. Levien Gymnasium is a 3,408-seat arena at Columbia University in New York City. Named for New York lawyer-industrialist Francis S. Levien (1905-95), it is home to the Columbia Lions basketball team, and is also used for gym classes in between games. Part of the Marcellus Hartley Dodge Physical Fitness Center, Levien Gym opened in 1974 as a replacement for the old University Gym, which is still used for intramural sports.
Rutherfurd Observatory
Rutherfurd Observatory is the astronomical facility maintained by Columbia University named after Lewis Morris Rutherfurd. Initially, Rutherfurd houses his telescopes and equipment in midtown Manhattan and later on the Stuyvesant Estate. When the Morningside campus was built, telescopes were kept in a "transit building" where the Interdisciplinary Science Building now stands.
New York Theological Seminary
The New York Theological Seminary (NYTS) was established as a non-denominational institution in 1900 with the founding of the Bible Teachers’ College in Montclair, New Jersey by Wilbert Webster White. President White moved the school to New York City in 1902, when it was renamed the Bible Teachers’ Training School. In 1921 the corporate name was changed to The Biblical Seminary in New York, and then in 1966 to New York Theological Seminary.
List College
Albert A. List College of Jewish Studies (List College) is the undergraduate school of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America (JTS). It was founded by Solomon Schechter in 1909 as the Teachers Institute with the original goal of training American Jewish educators. List College is closely affiliated with Columbia University; almost all List College students are enrolled in dual-degree programs (BA/BA or BA/BS) with either Columbia University’s School of General Studies or Barnard College.

WBAR
WBAR is the college radio station of Barnard College in New York City. Currently airing online-only, WBAR was developed as a freeform alternative to WKCR on the Columbia University campus. In addition to broadcasting an array of shows, WBAR hosts several live concerts per year in Morningside Heights, including the WBAR-B-Q, a free, all-ages, day-long showcase of bands and food, as well as a goth- themed event in the winter.
Miller Theatre
Miller Theatre at Columbia University is located on the Morningside Heights campus of Columbia University. It is a performing arts producer dedicated to developing and presenting new music. In 1988, the former McMillin Theater was renovated and renamed the Kathryn Bache Miller Theatre. Miller Theatre is particularly known for its Composer Portraits Series. Each concert in the series focuses on the work of a single composer.
The Interchurch Center
The Interchurch Center is a 19-story granite-clad office building located at 475 Riverside Drive and West 120th Street in New York City. It is the headquarters for the Church World Service, and also houses a wide variety of church agencies and ecumenical and interfaith organizations as well as some nonprofit foundations and faith-related organizations.
Claremont Avenue
Claremont Avenue is a relatively short street in the Manhattan borough of New York City. It begins at 116th Street and runs north for a length of eleven blocks until it ends at Tiemann Place (the western segment of 127th Street). South of 120th Street, the eastern side of Claremont Avenue features the heavily fortified backside of the Barnard College campus.
