Glenwood Landing is a hamlet in Nassau County, New York, United States. The population was 3,779 at the 2010 census. Glenwood Landing overlaps the Town of Oyster Bay and the Town of North Hempstead. It is a part of the North Shore School District.
Roslyn, New York
Roslyn is a village in Nassau County, New York, on the North Shore of Long Island. As of the United States 2010 Census, the village population was 2,770. Roslyn was once called Hempstead Harbor, but its name changed to Roslyn on September 7, 1844 due to postal confusion regarding all the other "Hempsteads" scattered about Long Island. Bar Beach (New York)
Bar Beach is a beach located on Long Island, in Port Washington, New York, USA. It is adjacent to Hempstead Harbor beach. A fireworks display sometimes takes place at the beach on Memorial Day but not in 2007. The absence of fireworks has been blamed on the Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza by the Town of North Hempstead. Fireworks returned to Bar Beach (renamed as North Hempstead Beach Park in 2008) on Memorial Day, with the Town of North Hempstead fully sponsoring the event.

Glen Head is a station along the Oyster Bay Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. It is officially located at Glen Head Road (Glenwood Rd. ) and School Street in Glen Head, New York. However, parking is available between Glen Head Road and Locust Avenue on the east side of the tracks and between Glen Head Road and Walnut Avenue on the west side of the tracks.
Greenvale (LIRR station)
Greenvale is a station along the Oyster Bay Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. The station is officially located Off Helen Street, between Glen Cove Avenue and Glen Cove Road, Greenvale, New York. Greenvale station was originally established on July 21, 1866, as "Week's station," a freight-only station primarily used for delivering milk. Passengers were briefly allowed at the station in 1875, and then again sometime during the 1880s. At some point, the station was renamed "Greenvale.
Engineers Country Club
Engineers Country Club is a country club located in Roslyn Harbor, New York. The club has an 18 hole championship golf course which hosted the PGA Championship in 1919 and the United States Amateur Championship in 1920. The competitions were won by Jim Barnes and Chick Evans, respectively. Herbert Strong was the architect of the original golf course and Devereux Emmet remodeled it in 1921. The golf course was constructed on the former grounds of the W. R. Willet Manor estate.

Hempstead Harbor, New York is a bay in Long Island Sound, between the towns of Oyster Bay on the east and North Hempstead on the west, in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. It is sometimes called Roslyn Harbor. Hempstead Harbor Park is a recreational beach park owned by the Town of North Hempstead, on the west shore of the harbor in Port Washington. It lies immediately west and north of Bar Beach. A fireworks display takes place there every Memorial Day.
