Port Washington is the terminus of the Long Island Rail Road's Port Washington Branch in Port Washington, New York. The station is located on Main Street, between Haven Avenue and South Bayles Avenue, just West of Middle Neck Road, and is 19.9 miles (32 km) from Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. Pedestrian bridges between the platforms are in line with Franklin Avenue and Bayview Avenue, both of which end Haven Avenue.

The Port Washington Tennis Academy, located in Long Island, New York, is the largest indoor tennis facility on the U.S. East Coast, with 17 indoor courts. Founded in 1966 as a non-profit tennis facility, it has an internationally acclaimed junior tennis development program. Monfort Cemetery
Monfort Cemetery is located 250 feet east of the intersection of Port Washington Boulevard and Main Street in Port Washington, New York, United States. It contains 118 graves of some of the earliest Dutch settlers of Cow Neck (as today's Port Washington was then known) and their descendants, buried from 1737 to 1892. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The cemetery is a small, nearly square plot surrounded by tall oak trees.
Manhasset Bay
Manhasset Bay, New York, is an embayment in western Long Island off Long Island Sound. Manhasset Bay forms the northeastern boundary of the Great Neck Peninsula and the southwestern boundary of Cow Neck (Port Washington Peninsula or Manhasset Neck). On the north side of the bay there are three points, Barkers Point at the entrance, Plum Point coming the furthest into the Bay, and Tom's Point in the back bay. On the other side, Hewlett Point forms the entrance nearly a mile from Barkers Point.
Knickerbocker Yacht Club
The Knickerbocker Yacht Club is a yacht club in Port Washington, New York. The club was founded in 1874, on the Harlem River at 130th Street in Manhattan, to encourage “Yachting and the cultivation of Naval Science and Seamanship”. In 1907, it moved to Port Washington. It started the Knickerbocker Cup race in 1982, which became internationally recognized. At its peak in the early 1980s, membership consisted of approximately 290 families with 165 boats.
