Cathedral of the Incarnation (Garden City, New York)
The Cathedral of the Incarnation is an Episcopal church in Garden City, New York, and the cathedral church of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. The Cathedral was established in 1876 as a memorial to and mausoleum for Garden City founder, Alexander Turney Stewart. The building is a classic, imposing example of Gothic architecture, with its high main tower and dozens of finials.

WQBU-FM 92.7, or known on-air as Mami 92.7, is a radio station licensed to Long Island, New York that plays Spanish tropical. It is owned by Univision's radio division. Before WQBU aired Mexican music, it was WDRE-FM, and later WLIR-FM. Univision bought the station in 2004 and became a multi-cast for "Latino Mix" WHBI 105.9 FM based in Newark, New Jersey. On Memorial Day 2005, both stations became "La Kalle," a reggaeton-formatted station. The station at 105.9 became WCAA and 92.7 became WZAA.

Winthrop-University Hospital was founded in 1896 under the name Nassau Hospital as Long Island, New York's first voluntary hospital. The location was originally constructed in 1900. It was renamed Winthrop-University Hospital in the 1980s to avoid confusion with Nassau County Medical Center, now Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC), in East Meadow. Winthrop University Hospital is a teaching hospital for Stony Brook University and is also a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System.

Mineola is a station on the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road in the village of Mineola, New York. All trains for the Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma, and Oyster Bay branches run through this station, as well as a few for the Montauk Branch. As of May 2011, 145 trains stop at this station every weekday, more than any other station east of Jamaica. It is the eighth-busiest station on the LIRR in terms of weekday boardings, with 10,348 boardings per day in 2006.

Garden City is one of five stations of the Long Island Rail Road that serves the Village of Garden City, New York. It is on the Hempstead Branch and is located at Seventh Street between Hilton and Cathedral Avenues, directly across the street from the Garden City Hotel. It is one of the few Long Island Rail Road stations with two station houses. Garden City Station was originally built in 1872 by the Central Railroad of Long Island, then rebuilt in 1898 by the LIRR.

The Garden City Hotel is a hotel in Garden City, New York. The first incarnation was built in 1874 by A.T. Stewart and the current fourth incarnation was built in 1983 by the late Myron Nelkin. It is famous for having hosted many world leaders and celebrities, including John F. Kennedy, Margaret Thatcher, and Charles Lindbergh, who stayed at the hotel the night before his famous transatlantic flight to Paris.

The Garden City Golf Club is a private golf course in Garden City, New York. The club was founded in 1899, and is also known as the "Garden City Men's Club" or simply the "Men's Club" to distinguish it from the Garden City Country Club, a nearby golf course. Garden City is a village in the town of Hempstead in central Nassau County, New York, in the United States. It was founded by multi-millionaire Alexander Turney Stewart in 1869, and is located on Long Island, to the east of New York City, 18.5 miles from midtown Manhattan, and just south of the town of North Hempstead. A very small section of the village is in North Hempstead. As of the 2010 census, the population of the incorporated village was 22,371.
Rosa Parks Hempstead Transit Center
The Rosa Parks Hempstead Transit Center is the Nassau Inter-County Express system's indoor customer facility between Jackson and West Columbia Streets in Hempstead, New York. It is also the terminus for the Hempstead Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. Serving 19 routes, the transit center is the major transfer point for customers using a second Nassau Inter-County Express route or the LIRR. It offers a waiting area, transit information, MetroCard vending machines, a newsstand and restrooms.
Clinton Road (LIRR station)
Clinton Road was a former station located on the Garden City-Mitchel Field Secondary branch of the Long Island Rail Road in the village of Garden City, New York. The station opened in 1915 on a line originally built by the Central Railroad of Long Island and was served by shuttle trains running between Country Life Press and Mitchel Field. Passenger service at Clinton Road ended on May 15, 1953. The station building is currently used by the Garden City Fire Department as a fire house.
