Carle Place is an unincorporated hamlet in the Town of North Hempstead in Nassau County, New York, United States. The population was 4,981 at the 2010 census, which lists the community as a census designated place.
Roosevelt Field (shopping mall)
Roosevelt Field is a leading American shopping mall. It is the second-largest high-end shopping mall in the state of New York (following only Destiny USA in Syracuse) and eighth in the country as measured by gross leaseable area at 2,189,941 ft² (203,452 m²). It is owned and managed by Simon Property Group. The mall is located in East Garden City, New York, just outside of Garden City, part of the Town of Hempstead on Long Island.
Roosevelt Field (Airport)
Roosevelt Field is a former airport, located 2.3 miles east-southeast of Mineola, Long Island, New York. Originally called the Hempstead Plains Aerodrome, or sometimes Hempstead Plains field or the Garden City Aerodrome, it was used as a training field (Hazelhurst Field) for the Air Service, United States Army during World War I. In 1919, it was renamed in honor of President Theodore Roosevelt's son, Quentin, who was killed in air combat during World War I.
Roosevelt Raceway (motor sports)
The Roosevelt Raceway motor sports race track was a Vanderbilt Cup and GP venue on New York's Long Island for the United States Grand Prix in 1936 and 1937. The land was acquired by lease from "Unit 2" of Roosevelt Field airport, and was the site of the runway from which Charles Lindbergh took off in the Spirit of St. Louis. The original raceway was twisty and bumpy, making it not quite suited to the big-bore big-BHP racecars of the day.

WTHE is an American radio station broadcasting a Gospel music format, licensed to the New York City suburb of Mineola, New York. Since 1968, the station has been owned by Universal Broadcasting of New York. WTHE broadcasts during daytime hours only, from local sunrise to sunset in order to protect WWKB in Buffalo, a clear-channel station on the same frequency that can frequently be heard in the New York City area after dark.

The Mall at the Source (also known as The Source Mall or simply The Source) is a shopping mall located in Westbury, New York, USA, on Old Country Road and Merchants Concourse (Ellison Avenue), currently managed by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and owned by lenders. Until August 2012, the mall was managed and co-owned by Simon Property Group. It had many stores including Old Navy and currently has an H&M. It also has several upscale restaurants such as The Cheesecake Factory and P. F.
Carle Place (LIRR station)
Carle Place (previously known as Carll Place) is a station along the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). It is officially located at Cherry Lane & Atlantic Avenue in Carle Place, New York, however the only parking space is at Stonehinge Lane, which is one block east of the corner of Cherry Lane and Mineola Avenue. Carle Place station was built on March 1, 1837 with the opening of the LIRR to Hicksville.
Roosevelt Raceway (harness racing)
Roosevelt Raceway was a ½-mile harness racing dirt then later synthetic (1957) track located in Westbury, New York, which operated from September 2, 1940 until July 15, 1988. It was the original home of the Messenger Stakes, part of the Triple Crown of Harness Racing for Pacers. The raceway hosted the event until it closed. It was also the first track to use the now universal "mobile starting gate".
