New Utrecht, Brooklyn
New Utrecht was the last of the original six towns to be founded Kings County, now the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It was named after the city of Utrecht, Netherlands. In 1652 Cornelius Van Deventer, a surveyor born in Utrecht and a principal investor in the Dutch West India Company, began purchasing land from the Canarsee and Nyack tribes. Upon his death in 1655 Jacques Cortelyou received permission to sell lots of the land to create a town.

The Coney Island-bound track has been disconnected from the line and the Manhattan-bound track is signaled for trains in both directions.

It is served by the D train at all times. This elevated station, opened on September 15, 1916, has three tracks and two side platforms. The center express track is not normally used. The Manhattan-bound platform has a full beige windscreen and brown canopies with green frames and support columns in the center.
18th Avenue (BMT West End Line)
18th Avenue is a local station on BMT West End Line of the New York City Subway in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. It is served by the D train at all times. It has three tracks and two side platforms. The center express track is not normally used. The station is situated in between two curves and platform extensions are to the north on both sides. There is a single mezzanine with three stairs to the street and two to each platform.

Van Pelt Manor
Van Pelt Manor was the name given to an area of Brooklyn, New York that today is part of the section of Bensonhurst. In the early part of the 20th Century it gave its name to a railroad station, a post office, and Public School 128 was known as Van Pelt Manor grammar school. Van Pelt Manor was an area in New Utrecht one of the Dutch towns in Brooklyn. Van Pelt Manor was originally owned by the descendants of Teunis Laenen van Pelt, an early Dutch settler.
Sinai Academy
Sinai Academy is a private junior high and high school currently located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, New York, whose students are primarily children of immigrants from the former Soviet Union. It was founded in 1987 during the years of peak immigration of Jewish refugees from the Soviet Union by Aryeh Katzin with the support of leading Orthodox rabbis in the United States, especially that of Rabbi Elya Svei of the Talmudical Yeshiva of Philadelphia.
