Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Williamsburg is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, bordering Greenpoint to the north, Bedford–Stuyvesant to the south, Bushwick and Ridgewood, Queens to the east and the East River to the west. The neighborhood is part of Brooklyn Community Board 1. The neighborhood is served by the New York Police Department (NYPD)'s 90th Precinct.
Union Grounds
Union Grounds was a baseball park located in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York. The grounds opened in 1862, its inaugural match being played on May 15. It was the first baseball park enclosed entirely by a fence, thereby allowing proprietor William Cammeyer or his tenant to charge admission. This permitted paying customers to watch the games from benches in a stand while non-paying spectators could only watch from embankments outside the grounds.

Hewes Street (BMT Jamaica Line)
Hewes Street is a local station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Hewes Street and Broadway in Brooklyn, it is served by the J train at all times except weekdays in the peak direction and the M train on weekdays. This elevated station, built four stories above street level and opened on June 25, 1888, has two side platforms and three tracks. The center track is used by J and Z trains weekdays in peak direction.
Duff's Brooklyn
Duff's Brooklyn is a heavy metal bar located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (168 Marcy Avenue, between South 5th and Broadway). Duff's initially opened as "Bellevue Bar" in the Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan in 1999, before moving to Brooklyn in 2004 with a name change to Duff's Brooklyn. The original Brooklyn location was at 28 North 3rd Street, where the bar resided from December 2004 to December 2008. Due to the rapid gentrification of area, the bar was forced relocate in December 2008.

The next stop to the south was Broadway Ferry.

Smith & Gray Company Building
Smith & Gray Company Building was an edifice which was erected in Brooklyn, New York in 1888. Designed by architect Peter J. Lauritzen, the building was eight stories tall. It was situated on an odd shaped lot at the intersection of Fulton Street and Nevins Street and Flatbush Avenue. It burned almost entirely in the early part of 1892. The establishment was distinguished by a pair of towers, more than 210 feet high, with a large clock which was illuminated at night.
