Bay Ridge is a neighborhood in the southwest corner of the New York City borough of Brooklyn, US It is bounded by Sunset Park on the north, Seventh Avenue and Dyker Heights on the east, The Narrows Strait, which partially houses the Belt Parkway, on the west and the Verrazano bridge on the south. While Fort Hamilton is often considered a separate neighborhood, it is part of Bay Ridge.

Fort Hamilton is a neighborhood in the far southwestern corner of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is located south of, and often considered part of, Bay Ridge. The area stretches from around 90th Street as its northern border to 101st Street at the south. It is bounded by New York Bay on the west, and 7th Avenue on the east. The neighborhood is named for the United States Army installation of the same name. Fort Hamilton is patrolled by the NYPD's 68th precinct.
86th Street (BMT Fourth Avenue Line)
86th Street is a station on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, located at 86th Street and Fourth Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. It is served by the R train at all times. This underground station, opened on April 14, 1916, has two tracks and a single island platform. The platform and mezzanines above have dark green columns, some of which have the standard black station name plate with white lettering.

77th Street (BMT Fourth Avenue Line)
77th Street is a station on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It is served by the R train at all times and is located at 77th Street and Fourth Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. This underground station, opened on April 14, 1916, has two side platforms and two tracks. Both platforms have cinderblock tiles on white and orange, which replaced the station's original mosaic trim line and name tablets during a renovation in the late 1970s.

Bay Ridge – 95th Street (originally 95th Street – Fort Hamilton) is the southern terminal station on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It is served by the R train at all times.
Papaya King
Papaya King is a chain of fast food take-out restaurants based in New York City. The original Papaya King was opened in 1932 on the corner of 86th St. and Third Ave. on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Although the restaurant originally only served drinks made from fresh tropical fruits, it soon expanded to serving hot dogs due to the influence of its neighborhood, which at the time was populated predominantly by German-American immigrants.

Carty (1909–1970), a native of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn who lived his life only five blocks away and dedicated himself to New York City government for 32 years. Rubber Park was opened in 1964 and was one of the first parks in New York City to have rubber matting under the children's’ equipment thus the name of Rubber Park.
