Coney Island Creek
Coney Island Creek encompasses two sea inlets in Brooklyn, New York City, one separating Coney Island from the neighborhoods of Gravesend and Bath Beach, the other separating the neighborhoods of Sheepshead Bay and Manhattan Beach. Prior to construction of the Shore Parkway in the 1950s, Coney Island Creek was a strait connecting Gravesend Bay and Sheepshead Bay, making Coney Island an actual island.

The Half Moon Hotel in Coney Island, New York was a 225-foot-tall, 14-story hotel that opened in 1927 on the Boardwalk at West 29th Street. The Half Moon was built to help Coney Island compete with the beach resort Atlantic City, N.J. The hotel was designed by the architectural firm of George B. Post and Sons. It is best known as the location where Abe Reles, informant for the FBI who brought down numerous members of Murder, Inc.

Dwyer Brothers Stable
Dwyer Brothers Stable was an American thoroughbred horse racing operation owned by Brooklyn businessmen Phil and Mike Dwyer. The Dwyer brothers hired trainer Evert Snedecker and purchased their first Thoroughbred, Rhadamanthus, in 1874. In October of that same year they acquired Vigil from Col. David McDaniel who to that point had earned $5630. In the ensuing few months of 1876 the colt won another $20,160 and was chosen that year's retrospective American Champion Three-Year-Old Male Horse.

Its headquarters are in Wing A of the second floor of One Jericho Plaza in Jericho, New York.
Coney Island Velodrome
The Coney Island Velodrome was a mid-sized sports arena in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn in New York City, USA. Designed as a bicycle racing venue, the drome featured a 1/8-mile wooden oval track with 45-degree banked corners and seating for 10,000. It also hosted outboard midgets into 1939. Located next to the BMT rail terminal at Neptune Avenue & West 12th Street, the venue played host to sports ranging from motorcycle races to boxing and football.

Gargiulo's Italian Restaurant
Gargiulo's is an Italian restaurant established in 1907 in Coney Island. The restaurant was started and run by Gus Garguilo, and later he was joined by his brother Louis and sisters Tessie and Angelina, with other family members working in the kitchen. Large parties were often held in the spacious dining room with its large maroon drapes and the parties often spilled out into the small courtyard in the back on warm days.
Thunderbolt (Coney Island)
The Thunderbolt was a wooden roller coaster located at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. It operated from 1925 until 1982 and was finally demolished in autumn 2000. It was designed by John Miller.
White Sands, Brooklyn
White Sands is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, located between Coney Island and Bath Beach. It is located in the area of the modern Brooklyn Community Board 13, however most of the former neighborhood no longer exists due to redevelopment. White Sands is located on the north shore of Coney Island Creek between the neighborhoods of Coney Island and Bath Beach. It is separated from Bath Beach by the Belt Parkway.
Totonno's
Totonno's is a pizzeria located at 1524 Neptune Avenue (between West 15th Street and West 16th Street) in Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. It was established by Antonio "Totonno" Pero. He was an employee at the Lombardi's pizzeria on Spring Street in New York's Little Italy that was established in 1905 when he began selling tomato pies cooked in a coal oven and wrapped in paper and tied with a string. In 1924, Totonno left Lombardi's to open his own pizzeria on Coney Island called Totonno's.
