Winsor McCay
Zenas Winsor McCay (c. 1867–1871 – July 26, 1934) was an American cartoonist and animator. He is best known for the comic strip Little Nemo (1905–14; 1924–26) and the animated film Gertie the Dinosaur (1914). For contractual reasons, he worked under the pen name Silas on the comic strip Dream of the Rarebit Fiend. Since a young age, McCay was a prolific, technically dextrous artist.
Eastern Park
Eastern Park was a baseball park in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York in the 1890s. It was bounded by Eastern Parkway (segment later renamed Pitkin Avenue when Eastern Parkway was diverted) to the north (home plate); the Long Island Railroad and Vesta Avenue (later renamed Van Sinderen Street) to the east (left field); Sutter Avenue to the south (center field); and Powell Street to the west (right field). The ballpark held 12,000 people.
East New York (LIRR station)
East New York is a station on the Long Island Rail Road's Atlantic Branch in East New York, Brooklyn, where that branch passes through the historic Jamaica Pass. It is served by the Far Rockaway, Hempstead and the West Hempstead Branches of the LIRR.
Liberty Avenue (IND Fulton Street Line)
Liberty Avenue, is a local station on the IND Fulton Street Line of the New York City Subway. It is served by the C train at all times except late nights when it is replaced by the A train. The exit is in the center with two stairways to a crossover to Liberty and Pennsylvania Avenues. Old signs indicate “To Manhattan” and “To Richmond Hill and Ozone Park” and “Public Telephone” (although there aren't any phones). At platform level there was a wide area under the stairways now used for storage.
Bushwick Avenue – Aberdeen Street (BMT Canarsie Line)
Bushwick Avenue – Aberdeen Street is a station on the BMT Canarsie Line of the New York City Subway and is served by the L train at all times. The entrance to this underground station is in a small building on the north side of Bushwick Avenue between Aberdeen Street and DeSales Place. In this space are 11-foot high coffered ceilings, suspended light fixtures, and fancy ironwork. Parchment brown replacement tiles can be observed.
Atlantic Avenue (BMT Canarsie Line)
Atlantic Avenue is a rapid transit station on the BMT Canarsie Line, a part of the New York City Subway system. Built in 1916, it was reconfigured in 2002–04. This station is a good example of the Dual Contracts architecture. Much of the period woodwork and ironwork is intact. The fare control area was modernized with new lighting and high, rounded windows.
Broadway Junction (New York City Subway)
Broadway Junction is a New York City Subway station complex shared by the elevated BMT Canarsie Line and BMT Jamaica Line, and the underground IND Fulton Street Line. It was also served by trains of the Fulton Street Elevated until that line closed in 1956. It is located roughly at the intersection of Broadway, Fulton Street, and Van Sinderen Avenue at the border of Bedford-Stuyvesant and East New York, Brooklyn.
Van Siclen Avenue (BMT Jamaica Line)
Van Siclen Avenue is a skip-stop station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Fulton Street and Van Siclen Avenue in Brooklyn, it is served by the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction, and by the J train other times. This station was rehabilitated in Summer–Fall 2006. The canopy is short and has a squared off, flat roof-line. There is a center mezzanine under the tracks with wooden floors and walls.
Alabama Avenue (BMT Jamaica Line)
Alabama Avenue is a skip-stop station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Alabama Avenue and Fulton Street in East New York, Brooklyn, it is served by the J train at all times. The Z train bypasses this station when it operates. This elevated station, opened on February 2, 1885 and renovated in 2006-07, has one island platform and two tracks. The platform has a red canopy with green frames and support columns at the west end.

The school offers vocational training in a variety of subjects, including cosmetology, fashion, medical assisting and related visual instruction.
