Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin
Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin or Yeshivas Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin, is a Haredi Lithuanian-type yeshiva located in Brooklyn, New York. Established in 1904 as Yeshiva Tiferes Bachurim, it is the oldest yeshiva in Kings County. At the suggestion of Rabbi Meir Berlin (Bar-Ilan), it was renamed for his brother, Rabbi Chaim Berlin, the chief rabbi of Moscow who had moved to Jerusalem and was one of its leading rabbis at the time of his death.
Midwood, Brooklyn
Midwood is a neighborhood in the south central part of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is within Community District 14, and is patrolled by the 61st, 66th and 70th precincts of the New York City Police Department. It is bounded on the north by the Bay Ridge Branch freight line tracks just above Avenue I and Brooklyn College campus of the City University of New York, and on the south by Avenue P and Kings Highway.
Fiske Terrace, Brooklyn
Fiske Terrace is a planned community and neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Fiske Terrace is located in south central Brooklyn in the southern edge of the community of Flatbush and north of the community of Midwood. It is bounded by Glenwood Road on the north, Ocean Avenue on the east, the Bay Ridge Branch of the New York and Atlantic Railway right-of-way on the south, and the Brighton Beach Line subway line on the west.

Avenue N is a local station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of Avenue N and McDonald Avenue in Brooklyn. It is served by the F train at all times. This elevated station, opened on March 16, 1919, has three tracks and two side platforms with the center track not normally used.
18th Avenue (IND Culver Line)
18th Avenue is an express station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of 18th Avenue and McDonald Avenue in Borough Park, Brooklyn. It is served by the F train at all times. This elevated station, opened on March 16, 1919, has two island platforms and three tracks with the center track not normally used. Except for small sections at either ends, both platforms have brown canopies with green frames and support columns for the entire length.
Avenue H (BMT Brighton Line)
Avenue H is a local station on the BMT Brighton Line of the New York City Subway. Located at Avenue H between East 15th and East 16th Streets on the border of Midwood and Flatbush, Brooklyn, it is served by the Q train at all times. The campuses of Brooklyn College and Midwood High School are nearby.
Avenue J (BMT Brighton Line)
Avenue J is a local station on the BMT Brighton Line of the New York City Subway, located on Avenue J between East 15th and East 16th Streets in Midwood, Brooklyn. It is served by the Q train at all times. The station is located on a raised earthen embankment. There are four tracks and two side platforms. The two center tracks are used by the B express train on weekdays. The station was opened around 1900 as a two-track surface station and named Manhattan Terrace.
Coney Island Avenue
Coney Island Avenue is a roadway in the New York City borough of Brooklyn that runs north-south for a distance of roughly five miles, almost parallel to Ocean Parkway. It begins at Brighton Beach Avenue in Coney Island and goes north to Park Circle at the southwest corner of Prospect Park, where it becomes Prospect Park Southwest. Near-parallel Ocean Parkway terminates five blocks south and three blocks west of that intersection, becoming the Prospect Expressway.

Avenue M (formerly Elm Avenue), is a local station on the BMT Brighton Line of the New York City Subway. It is located in Midwood, Brooklyn, at Avenue M between East 15th and East 16th Streets. It is served by the Q train at all times. This station, situated on an elevated embankment, has two side platforms and four tracks and closely the other local stations on the Brighton Line south of Newkirk Plaza. The two center tracks are used by the B express train on weekdays.
Kings Highway (BMT Brighton Line)
Kings Highway is an express station on the BMT Brighton Line of the New York City Subway. Served by the Q train at all times and by the B on weekdays, it is located at Kings Highway between East 15th and East 16th Streets on the border of Midwood and Sheepshead Bay neighborhoods of Brooklyn. This station has four tracks and two island platforms. It has three fare control areas at street level—two to Kings Highway/East 16th Street and one to Quentin Road/East 16th Street.
Avenue P (IND Culver Line)
Avenue P is a local station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway. It is served by the F train at all times. The station has a full-time mezzanine at Avenue P and 65th Street. It has six staircases, two to the streets and two to each platform. There is a station facility constructed inside the mezzanine on the Manhattan-bound side, giving evidence that there was a third staircase that was removed at the southeast corner of McDonald Avenue and Avenue P.
Avenue I (IND Culver Line)
Avenue I is a local station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Avenue I and McDonald Avenue in Midwood, Brooklyn, it is served by the F at all times. This station has two side platforms and three tracks with the middle track normally unused. The two platforms have beige windscreens and green canopies that run for nearly the entire length. The north end contains black waist-level fences only.

Bay Parkway (originally 22nd Avenue – Bay Parkway) is a local station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway, located in Brooklyn at the intersection of Bay Parkway and McDonald Avenue above Washington Cemetery. It is served by the F train at all times. This elevated station, opened on March 16, 1919, has two side platforms and three tracks with the center one not normally used.
P.S. 193
P.S. 193 is an elementary school in Kings County, Brooklyn, New York City. Its students range from Pre-Kindergarten to fifth grade, and the school provides for the educational needs of approximately 900 children. It is also known as the 'Gil Hodges School, after the famous baseball player. The school itself is on Bedford Avenue and Avenue L, a section of the former in proximity to the school having been duly renamed Gil Hodges Way in April 2001.
Avalon Theater (Brooklyn)
The Avalon Theater was a now defunct theater that opened in Brooklyn, New York on January 25, 1928 and was located on Kings Highway at the northwest corner of East 18th Street in the United States of America. Originally built by a local Brooklyn company as the Piccadilly, it was sold prior to opening to Loews Theaters, which changed the name to Avalon. Designed by Samuel Cohen, the auditoriums seated 2,119 and featured a Robert Morton theatre pipe organ.

The building originally housed Vitagraph Studios. The school was founded in 1930 by Nacha Rivkin, together with Rabbi M.G. Volk in Borough Park, Brooklyn. It was the first Orthodox Jewish elementary school for girls in North America. From 1941, Dr. Judith Lieberman served as Hebrew principal and later as dean of Hebrew studies.

JC Studios is a film and television studio located at 1268 E. 14th Street in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, New York. The facility can trace its history back to around 1903, when it served as a studio for Vitagraph and Florence Turner, its first Vitagraph girl. (Vitagraph's main Brooklyn facility was located across E. 14th Street on property that is now occupied by the Shulamith School for Girls.
