Haviland is a community in Dutchess County, New York, United States. The population was 3,634 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. Haviland is in the south part of Hyde Park, New York. The Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site is located within the community.

WHVW (950 AM) is a radio station licensed to Hyde Park, New York that is noted for its eclectic format based on old-fashioned blues, jazz, country and Americana music. Hyde Park Reformed Dutch Church

Hyde Park Dutch Reformed Church is located on US 9 in the center of Hyde Park, New York, United States, just north of the post office and the junction with Market Street at the center of town. It is a complex of several buildings on a 2-acre lot. The congregation traces its roots to a union church established in the community in 1789. It was formally organized within the Dutch Reformed Church three years later. The main church building was constructed in 1826 in the Federal style.

The Poughkeepsie Yacht Club is a small private yacht club based in the Hudson Valley in upstate New York. The club is one of the earliest yachting institutions in America and founded in 1892. The Club's members have contributed to the sport of yachting, sailing, rowing, and ice-boating.
