Haviland is a community in Dutchess County, New York, United States. The population was 3,634 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. St. James Chapel (Hyde Park, New York)
St. James' Chapel is located on East Market Street, a short distance east of US 9, in Hyde Park, New York, United States. It is part of the Episcopal parish of St. James, whose main church is located 1 mile north of it along Route 9. It appears to be one building today but actually consists of two buildings constructed a quarter-century apart. The Greek Revival-style school building is the church's oldest extant building.

Hyde Park Dutch Reformed Church is located on US 9 in the center of Hyde Park, New York, United States, just north of the post office and the junction with Market Street at the center of town. It is a complex of several buildings on a 2-acre lot. The congregation traces its roots to a union church established in the community in 1789. It was formally organized within the Dutch Reformed Church three years later. The main church building was constructed in 1826 in the Federal style.
