Its transmitter is located in the Helderberg Mountains in New Scotland, while its studios are located in the Rensselaer Technology Park in North Greenbush (though the station's mailing address says Troy).

Thompson's Lake State Park is a state park located near East Berne, New York, in Albany County. The park offers a beach, a playground and playing fields, picnic tables, recreation programs, a nature trail, fishing and ice fishing, a boat launch, a dump station, campground for tents and trailers, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Located within the park boundaries is the Knox District School No. 5, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

WVBG-LP

WVBG-LP is an low-power television station that broadcasts on UHF channel 25 from the Pinnacle Campsite area on the Helderberg Escarpment. The station signed on in 1998 as an affiliate of UPN. However, in 2000, it would lose its affiliation to cable-only WEDG-TV, which would later go off-the-air in favor of WNYA. The station was forced to go independent, but later joined the Resort Sports Network, based in Portland, Maine.
