Delaware Water Gap is a borough in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap, the pass through which the Lackawanna Corridor and Interstate 80 run across the Pennsylvania-New Jersey border along the Delaware River. The population of Delaware Water Gap was 746 at the 2010 census.

The Delaware Water Gap is on the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania where the Delaware River cuts through a large ridge of the Appalachian Mountains. A water gap is a geological feature where a river cuts through a mountain ridge. The Delaware Water Gap is the site of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which is used primarily for recreational purposes, such as rafting, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hiking and rock climbing.
Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge
The Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge (also known as the Interstate 80 Toll Bridge) is a toll bridge that carries I-80 across the Delaware River at the Delaware Water Gap, connecting Hardwick Township, New Jersey and Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania. The bridge was built by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. The 2,465-foot -long bridge is a multiple span dual roadway with a steel plate structure.
Brodhead Creek
Brodhead Creek is a 21.9-mile-long tributary of the Delaware River in the Poconos of eastern Pennsylvania in the United States. It is formed by the union of Middle and Levitt branches in Barrett Township in Monroe County. The native name was "Analomink". The present name was given for Daniel Brodhead, a prominent early settler. It receives McMichael Creek as it flows south and east into the Delaware River. At one time it was called Smithfield Creek after receiving McMichael Creek.

Slateford Junction
Slateford Junction was a railway junction in the small town of Slateford, Pennsylvania where the existing mainline of the Lackawanna Railroad joined the new Lackawanna Cut-Off. The junction had an interlocking tower and turntable, but no station. The tower opened on December 20, 1911, four days before the opening of the Cut-Off. The junction sat 28.5 miles west of Port Morris Junction where the Cut-Off connects with New Jersey Transit's Montclair-Boonton Line.

Slateford is an unincorporated community in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. The nearest communities are Stroudsburg to the north and Portland to the south. Slateford is about 1 mile (1.4 km) from the Delaware Water Gap. Its name comes from its location at the edge of the Northhampton Slate Belt. Immigrants from Wales and England came in the 19th century to work in the slate quarries.

The Delaware Water Gap is a proposed rail station to be built south of the right-of-way at PA Route 2028 (River Road) in Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The new station would sit about one mile (1.6 km) west of the historic railroad station of the same name. Passenger rail service into New Jersey and New York City would be provided by NJ Transit via the Lackawanna Cut-Off.
