Barnegat Bay
Barnegat Bay is a small brackish arm of the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 30 miles (50 km) long, along the coast of Ocean County, New Jersey in the United States. It is separated from the Atlantic by a long barrier peninsula, as well as by the north end of Long Beach Island. The bay is fed by several small rivers, including the Toms River and Metedeconk River, which empty into the bay through small estuaries along its inner shore.

Turtle Creek (New Jersey)
Turtle Creek is a 1.9-mile-long tributary of the Mullica River in southern New Jersey in the United States. From source to outlet, it is entirely surrounded by the tidal marshes of the Swan Bay Wildlife Management Area. The former upper reaches of the stream, reaching some distance north into the Wharton State Forest, have been diverted and given their own channel, reaching the Mullica to the west of the remaining stream.

Island Beach State Park
Island Beach State Park is a New Jersey state park located just south of Seaside Park on the Barnegat Peninsula in Berkeley Township, Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. The park is operated and maintained by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. Most of the park encompasses the former borough of Island Beach. The park is the largest reserve of undeveloped barrier island in New Jersey and one of the largest in the United States. The park is divided into two areas.

WJRZ-FM began broadcasting on July 4, 1976 from Manahawkin, New Jersey with a Top 40 format that also played a lot of recurrents. The original city of license was Ship Bottom, later changed to Manahawkin, and used the ID "Manahawkin-Toms River". Harvey Cedars Hotel
Harvey Cedars Hotel is the last remaining historic hotel of its size located on Long Beach Island, NJ in the town of Harvey Cedars (although at the time it was built, it was known as High Point). It was begun in the 1830s as a fishing and hunting hotel on the then, scarcely inhabited Long Beach Island. Originally a small hotel, it was built expanded in the 1870s and 1880s.
Camp Whelen
Camp Whelen, a Christian summer camp for young girls, was founded in the early 1920s after the former Harvey Cedars Hotel was purchased by the Philadelphia YWCA. Camp Whelen survived until the Depression. After shutting down due to declining attendance, the hotel was abandoned for about 10 years. After this, it was purchased and turned into Harvey Cedars Bible Conference.

It was proposed as a single 1,070 MW reactor in 1969 to be built by Combustion Engineering and operated by Jersey Central Power and Light. The facility would be located on a site between JCP&L's existing Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station and the Garden State Parkway.
