Hanover Township, New Jersey
Hanover Township is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. At the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 13,712, reflecting an increase of 814 (+6.3%) from the 12,898 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,360 (+11.8%) from the 11,538 counted in the 1990 Census. The township comprises the unincorporated communities of Whippany and Cedar Knolls.
Whippany River
The Whippany River is a tributary of the Rockaway River, approximately 20 mi (30 km) long, in northern New Jersey in the United States. It rises in Morris County, in Mendham Township west of Morristown, and flows generally ENE in a meandering course, through Morristown and the Whippany area of Hanover Township. It flows through the Troy Meadows and joins the Rockaway in the Hatfield Swamp in eastern Morris County, just above the confluence of the Rockaway with the Passaic River.

The Bee Meadow School is an elementary public school that serves about 380 students in grades K–5. The school is located in front of the Bee Meadow Park at number 120 of Reynolds Avenue in Whippany, New Jersey, United States, and is one of three elementary schools in the Hanover Township Public Schools. The school was built in 1974; an addition to the building was completed in 2005. In 1998–1999, the school was awarded the Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.
