Lake Telemark is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located within Rockaway Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 1,255.

Rockaway Township is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 24,156, reflecting an increase of 1,226 (+5.3%) from the 22,930 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 3,358 (+17.2%) from the 19,572 counted in the 1990 Census. Rockaway Township was incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 8, 1844, from portions of Hanover Township and Pequannock Township.
Green Pond, New Jersey
Green Pond is the name of both a lake and of a private lakeside residential community in northern New Jersey. The lakeside community is managed by two corporations, Green Pond Corporation and Lake End Corporation. Despite a name suggestive of a small lily pad and algae-coated pool, Green Pond lake is fairly large (approximately 2.5 mi long and 0.5 mi mile in breadth at its widest point - 465 acres total), and the water clarity is high due to the lake's source.
Hibernia mines
The Hibernia mines are a series of iron mines in northern New Jersey, worked from pre-Revolutionary times until 1916. An exploratory shaft was drilled in the 1950s but was not worked, and the shafts and adit were partly or totally sealed in 1972 and 1989. After its closure, the mine became the largest bat hibernaculum in New Jersey, with as many 30,000 bats each winter. In 2010, less than 10% that number was found in the mine following an outbreak of white nose syndrome.
Camp Marcella
Camp Marcella is the facility designed and owned by the NJ Camp for Blind Children (NJCBC) incorporated, a non-profit organization started in 1947. At that time a casual type of camp facility existed, but to many parents it lacked the advantages of a complete camping experience. So NJCBC began recruiting the right people for the right job.
Splitrock Reservoir
Splitrock Reservoir is 625 acres of wilderness located in northern New Jersey on the borders of Rockaway Township and Kinnelon. The reservoir is nestled deep in the woods where it can be reached by traveling a mile on a dirt road known as Split Rock Road. The reservoir consists of several large lakes interconnected with many large islands. There is a large man-made dam on the southwest end of the reservoir.

Lake Denmark is a small lake about 4 miles north of Rockaway in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The closest city is Lake Telemark, NJ, about one mile southeast of the lake. Close by are Picatinny Lake in the southwest and the Green Pond in the northeast. It is located at an elevation of 961 ft and has a triangle form. Lake Denmark has a max. length of about 4,000 ft and a max. width of about 2,000 ft .
