Budd Lake is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located within Mount Olive Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 8,968. Budd Lake was named for John Budd. Prior to that, it was called Hattacawanna Lake.
