Howell Township, New Jersey
Howell Township is a township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 51,075, reflecting an increase of 2,172 (+4.4%) from the 48,903 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 9,916 (+25.4%) from the 38,987 counted in the 1990 Census. Howell Township was incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 23, 1801, from portions of Shrewsbury Township.

WRDR - branded as Bridge FM - is a radio station broadcasting a Christian radio format. Licensed to Freehold Township, New Jersey, it serves the New York area. The station is currently owned by Bridgelight, LLC. Bridgelight, LLC was created as a counterpart to Christian denomination Calvary Chapel Old Bridge. The station simulcasts on translators on several low-power FM stations, including WJUX, formerly known as "Jukebox Radio", which the station acquired.
Freehold and Howell Plank Road
The Freehold and Howell Plank Road was a plank road in New Jersey, running south from Freehold into Howell Township. Its path is now roughly followed by New Jersey Route 79, U. S. Route 9 and County Route 524. The Freehold and Howell Plank Road was chartered March 1, 1853. On June 1, 1901 it was purchased by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders and incorporated into the county highway system. Portions were later taken over as a state highway.
