Highland Park is a borough in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 13,982, reflecting a decline of 17 (-0.1%) from the 13,999 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 720 (+5.4%) from the 13,279 counted in the 1990 Census. Highland Park was formed as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 15, 1905, when it broke away from the then Raritan Township.

Mary Ellis grave

The Mary Ellis grave is in New Brunswick, New Jersey in the parking lot of the Loew's Movie Theatre. Her family home eventually became the site for the Route 1 Flea Market, and later the Loews Movie Theatre. The Donald and Morris Goodkind Bridges are a pair of bridges on U.S. Route 1 in the U.S. state of New Jersey spanning the Raritan River. The bridges connect Edison on the north with New Brunswick on the south. The Donald Goodkind bridge, a steel span bridge built in 1974, carries southbound traffic. Albany Street Bridge

The Albany Street Bridge is a bridge on Route 27 in the U.S. state of New Jersey spanning the Raritan River. The bridge connects Highland Park on the east with New Brunswick on the west. The bridge is so named because Route 27 in New Brunswick, from the Raritan River to Easton Avenue, is known locally as Albany Street. The low stone arch bridge was built in 1887. It was widened in 1925, ten years after Route 27 had become part of the transcontinental Lincoln Highway.
