The Arlington Station is an abandoned train station that is located in the town of Kearny, New Jersey. The station was a former stop on the Boonton Line, which runs from Hoboken Terminal to Hackettstown. Train service was discontinued in 2002 when the Montclair Connection was opened.
Rowe Street (NJT station)
The Rowe Street Station is an abandoned train station that is located in the town of Bloomfield, New Jersey. The station was a former stop on the Boonton Line, which runs from Hoboken Terminal to Hackettstown, reaching Rowe Street in Bloomfield. Rowe Street station was known before 1955 as Orchard Street station. The platforms lie in the block between the two streets.
Benson Street (NJT station)
The Benson Street Station is an inactive train station that is located in the town of Glen Ridge, New Jersey. The station was a former stop on the Boonton Line, which runs from Hoboken Terminal to Hackettstown, reaching Benson Street in the middle of the residential portion. The station was constructed in 1883 in a unique English Tudor design with stucco facades and a slate roof. Benson Street had a two platform, two track station with the gas lights on the side of tracks.
West Arlington (Erie Railroad station)
West Arlington Station was a former railroad station in the Arlington section of Kearny in Hudson County, New Jersey. The station was used by the Erie Railroad along its New York & Greenwood Lake Railroad division. The second of two stations in Arlington, the station was located on North Midland Avenue, just off the intersection with County Route 699 (Passaic Avenue).
Arlington Memorial Park
Arlington Memorial Park is a cemetery located mostly in Kearny in Hudson County, New Jersey, on Schuyler Avenue. A small portion of the cemetery is located across Belleville Turnpike in North Arlington in Bergen County. Prior to its creation the ground was owned by Julius Pratt, who later negotiated the development of the "attractive and picturesque" cemetery.
WR Draw
WR Draw is an out-of-service railroad bridge crossing the Passaic River between Newark and the Arlington section of Kearny, New Jersey. The plate girder rim-bearing swing bridge, originally built in 1897 and modified in 1911 and 1950, is the 14th bridge from the river's mouth at Newark Bay and is 8.1 miles upstream from it. Last used for regular passenger service in 2002, it is welded in closed position as its height is not considered a hazard to navigation.
Belleville Turnpike Bridge
The Belleville Turnpike Bridge is a vehicular moveable bridge spanning the Passaic River in northeastern New Jersey 8.9 miles from its river mouth at Newark Bay. Also known as Rutgers Street Bridge and Route 7 Bridge, it is the fourth fixed crossing to be built at the location, today the tripoint of the municipal and county lines of Belleville in Essex, Kearny in Hudson, and North Arlington in Bergen.
