Ramsey is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. It is a suburb of New York City, located 26 miles northwest of Midtown Manhattan. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 14,473, reflecting an increase of 122 (+0.9%) from the 14,351 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,123 (+8.5%) from the 13,228 counted in the 1990 Census.

Eric Smith Middle School
Eric Smith Middle School is a public middle school located in Ramsey, New Jersey, and includes grades 6, 7, and 8. It is the only middle school in the Ramsey Public School District. As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 785 students and 67.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 11.6. It receives most of its students from Dater Elementary School, grades 4 and 5.
Ramsey (NJT station)
Ramsey Station is one of two New Jersey Transit rail stations in Ramsey, New Jersey served by Main Line and Bergen County Line trains. The station is located on Main Street and was built in 1868 (the oldest passenger station in service in New Jersey). The station is often referred to as Ramsey-Main Street, to prevent confusion with the other station in the borough, Ramsey Route 17, which was completed in 2004.
Ramsey Route 17 (NJT station)
Ramsey Route 17 Station is one of two New Jersey Transit rail stations in Ramsey, New Jersey served by Main Line and Bergen County Line trains, as well as select Port Jervis Line trains. The station opened on August 22, 2004. The rail station is adjacent to NJ 17, allowing motorists drive straight to the station from the highway. There is a 5-floor parking deck at the station which has over 1,000 spaces.
