Lyndhurst, New Jersey
Lyndhurst is a township in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 20,554, reflecting an increase of 1,171 (+6.0%) from the 19,383 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,121 (+6.1%) from the 18,262 counted in the 1990 Census. Lyndhurst was originally formed as Union Township on February 19, 1852 from portions of Harrison Township.
Eastwood, New Jersey
Eastwood (June 6, 1894 – March 20, 1896) was a Borough that existed for a brief period of time in Bergen County, New Jersey at the height of the "Boroughitis" fever that engendered the creation of 26 new municipalities in the county during 1894. When River Vale was incorporated in 1906, it included the area that had been the Borough of Eastwood. Eastwood was formed from the old Washington Township in the area on the west of present-day River Vale and east of Westwood.

Lyndhurst (NJT station)
Lyndhurst Station is a New Jersey Transit rail station located off of New York Avenue in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. The station is one of two in Lyndhurst, the other being Kingsland Station. The Lyndhurst Station is located at milepost 8.2 on the Main Line. Formerly part of the Lackawanna Boonton Branch, the brick station was built 1928 to replace an older wood facility.

Kingsland Station is a railroad station on New Jersey Transit's Main Line. It is located under Ridge Road between New York and Valley Brook Avenues in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, United States, and is one of two stations in Lyndhurst. The station is not staffed, and passengers use ticket vending machines (TVMs) which are located at street level to purchase tickets. The station is not handicapped-accessible.
Kingsland Explosion
The Kingsland Explosion was an incident that took place during World War I at a munitions factory in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. An arbitration commission in 1931 determined that, "In the Kingsland Case the Commission finds upon the evidence that the fire was not caused by any German agent. " The U.S. was officially neutral, but American and Canadian companies supplied goods to the Allies giving an incentive for acts of sabotage on American soil.
Rutt's Hut
Rutt's Hut is a restaurant in Clifton, New Jersey known for its style of deep-fried hot dogs. The process of frying causes the hot dog casings to crack and split, which has led to the nickname "Rippers". The restaurant is also known for its mustard-based relish made with cabbage, onions, and carrots. The original roadside stand was opened in 1928 by Royal "Abe" Rutt and his wife, Anna. The family sold the restaurant to the current owner, Nicholas Karagiorgis, in late 1974.

The Van Riper House in Nutley, New Jersey is a Bergen Dutch sandstone house built in 1708. The building was for a time was owned by ITT Corporation and served as executives' residence and offices. In 2001, the building and 0.9 acres of land were transferred to the municipal government who then leased it to the The Van Riper Historic Restoration Trust of Nutley for twenty years, with the intention that it would be restored and preserved.
Lyndhurst Draw
The Lyndhurst Draw is a railroad bridge crossing the Passaic River between Clifton and Lyndhurst in northeastern New Jersey. Built in 1901, it is owned and operated by New Jersey Transit Rail Operations. (NJT) The swing bridge is situated between the Lyndhurst and Delawanna stations of NJT's Main Line, 8.52 miles from its origination point at Hoboken Terminal, and 11.7 miles from the river's mouth at Newark Bay.
Avondale Bridge (Passaic River)
Avondale Bridge, also known as the De Jessa Memorial Bridge and the Park Avenue Bridge, is a vehicular movable bridge over the Passaic River in northeastern New Jersey. It crosses the county line to connect the towns of Lyndhurst in Bergen and Nutley in Essex, originally taking its name from a section of the latter. The bridge is 10.7 miles from the river's mouth at Newark Bay, and is required to open on four hours' notice.
