Hampshire Plaza
The Hampshire Plaza, located at 1000 Elm Street, Manchester, New Hampshire, is a 259-foot-tall, 20-story high-rise. From its completion in 1972 until the completion of the 275-foot One City Hall Plaza at 900 Elm Street, it was the tallest building in the U.S. state of New Hampshire and in northern New England. The building is recognizable as a box-shaped structure, with black tinted windows and black architectural features.
Beech Street Grounds
The Beech Street Grounds were a baseball-only stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire between 1892 and 1895. Constructed at the corner of Beech and Valley Streets on land owned by the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company, the grounds were part of a section of the city known as the Plains, a relatively flat area on which children and organized amateur teams had played baseball since at least as early as 1880.
